I can't believe she walked out my door
The same one that was open before
Will she come back? I doubt
No matter how loud I shout
It seems like I'm whispering
She isn't listening
She sings the song that only I can hear
It's sound is unknown, yet so familiar
Day by day my memory replays
Showing my flaws, my mistakes
No matter how many times it repeats
I still walk around with bare feet
Through a field of shattered hopes and dreams
Trailing behind her, shivering
Cold and unknowing of what to speak
I can feel the warmth falling behind
But her I can't find
I carry calendars everywhere I go
Marking away the days to lay to waste
Scratching the paper till I won't cry her name
These red rows don't seace

I've fallen in love and still falling deep
for someone that I fear I won't get
this fear is overwhelming
but for her sake I will remain completely calm
for she is my world
if for the wrong reasons she cries at night
thunderstorms form from the clear blue skies
and I will face the tsunamis as they crash upon my shores
when it hits, my heart will be shattered
and spread out to the sand to be found no more
I won't quit until she is mine
there isn't another like her to find
she is just one of a kind
she's the captain of my emotions
I'm trusting her not to steer them into the ocean
she alone can find the pieces of my scattered heart
and piece them together like they were never apart
she has put them all back in place
except the last one labeled fate just has to wait
until she is in my arms once again
walking hand in hand as more than friends
as I am the one who holds onto that last piece
waiting for her return patiently
so that together we can place fate next to love
and never leave each other's side till death do us part.

These foreign feelings…
Where did they come from?
Why won't they leave me in peace?
No matter how many times I reenact this tragedy
It won't ever seace
It always ends in the same heartbroken way
By the end of the day, my heart…my soul,
They will leave me running astray
Leaving me alone in this cold city of remorse with no one to hold tight
That person in the shadows…she won't come into the light
No matter how hard I cry
She just stands there with a blank stare and dilated eyes,
She's afraid to walk into the light.
She's afraid she might go blind.
I think I am getting used to these feelings…
These feelings of losing everything I wanted
Losing all of my hopes, my dreams…my wishes
To be forever thrown into the wind
To never be seen or heard of again
Yet somehow, I meet these memories on the other end
They run through my ears and my mind takes them as a trend
Tells me to follow my fictional dreams,
That they will happen if I believe
I would float in the ocean until I found her on a wave trying to find new land
With her eyes closed shut, I would take her away
To my land with an overcast of grey,
And replace the dark with the light in her eyes
