Hey everyone, Just wanted to update everyone on where we're at. We are finishing the final touches on our record in the ol' mixing process in Bath, England. Amazing city, great studio. Its sounding great as Dan Austin is doing an amazing job. Its no easy task getting a million different sounds and trying to mix it into one cohesive song. But he is doing it. We know these tracks won't be out for a bit but stay excited for them. They sound amazing and we feel these will be the defining tracks of our band thus far. Mixing will sadly be ending this coming week and we will be saying goodbye to Dan for a while. We will then be heading to London for the rest of our time here. Have a show or two coming up in a week or so from now. We've had incredible experience in England thus far and its still far from over. But our time is no doubt winding down. We hope to get on the road in the upcoming months and see some of you who still follow us. Its taken an incredibly long time to put together this record, but we feel it will be worth it in the end for everyone who is still standing by us. Take care our friends and until next time.... Yeah we know our myspace has been dead for a while and there may be few of you still coming to the site for news. But for those of you that still do, here are a couple of headlines for you:

*We have been working on the album non stop since getting back from SXSW. At one point, we had about 30 songs/ideas to work with.

*Last month, Producer Dan Austin (The Doves, Oceansize, The Hours) from the good ol' United Kingdom came to little Hughson, CA to begin pre-production with us for the record. Eleven days later, Dan headed back to the UK and we had 18 full length songs in the bag.

*Dan is now headed back to the US and we will be in the process of finalizing a few more songs and then narrowing it down to 14 to go into the studio with.

*In the next month, we will be updating you all with the record process. Location, videos, pictures, and moods will be updated. We promise to keep you all in the loop! We know that it has taken forever to get to this point, and nobody is more excited than the six guys in this band to get it to you.

We're thinking of doing this Twitter thing. We'll let you know how that goes. :) Take care! WE miss you all!

Current mood:  excited

We wanted to thank every one for coming out last night... We had so much fun. It was an amazing experience.. and we all felt pretty inspired after it. Hopefully some of you did as well... We want to thank. Jay from Goodbye Productions for putting on the show and The State.. Theatre for being  a great venue for a town with no venue... Thanks to our awesome friends Brett, Brandon, and Kevin for doing merch and helping out with the great visuals going on in the background. Brett is the man when it comes to anything visual with Evaline and we're thankful to have a friend like that do so much for us. WE also wanted to thank Josh and Chantry from The Kinzie Affair for coming up and lending some claps and marching toms... That made the last song such a blast... If you have the time,.. check.. them out at myspace. com/thekinzieaffair. Our new member Daniel Petersen (Greg's brother and at some times the band photographer) recorded their new yet to be released EP. Check.. it out and add them as friends. If anyone has any pictures or videos from the show, please post them as we would love to see them. Happy holidays to you all!

p.s.- we'll be playing some more shows coming up and we have big plans! don't quit on us yet. we're still working on the album and eventually it will reach your hands. hopefully it will show everyone who we want to be, for better or for worse. no matter what we're really excited about the future and hope that at least a handful of you will be hanging with us. until the next time......

so i assume anyone who knows who we are have been wondering if we are still alive. and though it seems like we're extinct the answer is most definitely yes, we are alive. we are so so very sorry for the lack of communication and in time we'll be back to responding to all your messages, questions, etc... we have been home since warped tour 07 writing our asses off, dealing with life, personal struggles and the somewhat callous and harsh reality of the music industry. it seems plans don't often go the way you expect or predict. actually as i've be getting older(and more neurotic ha) i often notice things happen the way you least expect them to. no matter how much you agonize or worry some things you just can't think your way out of. so that being said the process of a new record is taking a bit longer than we expected. enough of that though.. good news! we have been working and recording on a set of songs that is safe to say some of our best material to date(in our opinion). we are all extremely happy with the first step of these songs. they show growth, depth, promise, maturity and simply just reflect this period of our life. a really interesting thing about being in a band and writing music constantly is that you start to realize that all these songs and ideas you've been working on are really accurate documentations of that moment in your life. i promise you we will be getting music out to you all as soon as humanly possible. all this passed time has really given us the chance to grow and shape ourselves into what we need to and want to be. so be excited for new and different sounds coming your way from us. thanks so much for being patient with us and once again.. sorry and thank you so much for being upset we haven't given you any new music haha and don't give up hope, we'll be back soon enough. thanks again and we can't wait to see you all.

with love,
