Current mood: tired
Hello, Haven't posted much lately. We have been spending much of our time writing and recording the new record. We hope to have it done early 2010. Wow! 2010! Sounds so weird to say. Like it's some sci-fi future date that we shouldn't be living in but reading about like the book 1984.Which I read half of. Maybe I'll finish it when we are done with this record. There have been a few new songs added in the past few weeks to the myspace player. Flaunt and Trapdoor being the two newest additions. Also, some new photos have been added by a fabulous(yes I said fabulous) photographer by the name of Joshua Berardi. Changes have been made to the official website www.ladyparasyte.com as well as our facebook page. I am very happy with the new images because I feel that it portrays this project accurately and that is has a band. Everyone brings something to the table. It isn't a solo project. Female fronted in that the lead singer is female and generally signers stand at the front for whatever reason but everyone plays an important role and I think their work should be acknowledged. Yes, I started this band but it would be nothing but a name if it wasn't for everyone's hard work and time. From the current members Mark and Miss Angela to previous members birdFEEDER,Inkydust and Alan Oldham. I am very lucky to be working with and to have worked with such talented people. On another note. Very recently via the mood & status update on myspace I started a discussion about Twitter. So if those of you who commented on that if it isn't too much to ask please repost your points here. I'm really cuurious to hear different opinions on the subjsect. Yes there are more important things in the world but at this point in time a good portion of the world seems to be tweeting everything under the sun. So what do you think about Twitter? A waste of time, good fun,a smart and efficient way of interacting with others? Let us know. Thanks for your time and for your support. It is and always will be appreciated. LP

Hola! Just wanted to let you that a recent interview I did with Cyber Angels is now online. Interview with Lady Parasyte:How did you come to be known as Lady Parasyte? Where did you get the nickname?
Back in my teens I always assumed I'd have a band called 'Parasyte'but
that never really came to fruition. So I started using Lady Parasyte
has a internet screename and it just seemed to lend itself musically. I
figured it was interesting because it mixed something feminine with
something that is commonly looked at as disgusting.
When did you start to become an artist, what triggered you in becoming one?
I had a alot of friends who were musician types and I had enjoyed
writing lyrics since I was pretty young. So it started off as something
fun to do with my musically inclined friends. It was something I did
just for fun and also just to kind of put to use the stuff I had
written.Click here to read onward...Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! :)

Good day...
Alrighty...I realized I haven't written much on the myspace lately. I've been so consumed with Twitter lately. I haven't decided if I love twitter or hate it. Sometimes when I'm out and about or have a thought of genius I think to myself "Oooooh...I have to "tweet" this! " Then I think...does any one really care? I don't mean that to sound so self pitying really. It's just so much me,me,me,me,me and I generally don't feel that I have something that's all that interesting to say. I usually save that for the songs. So really...does anybody out there care what I had for breakfast, watched on tv, am annoyed with, what I love/hate,where I'm going, where I've been or whether or not my ass has been sufficently scratched?
So for the time being I get in Twitter moods where I post every random thought that passes through my brain and there are days where I don't even want to look at the thing. We shall see how it goes in the long run.I do enjoy following a few other celebs and friends on there.I'd say about 75% percent of my updates are Amanda Palmer's tweets. That womans got some internet stamina that makes me exhausted just thinking about it.
Also, this Saturday Experiment Haywire,Miss Angela S. and myself are planning on attending Bytchfest in Chicago at The Fizz. If your in town and feel bytchy come on down for some music, drinking and well....bitches I'm assuming. http://www.myspace.com.bytchfest2009
Beyond that for those of you have have not visited my page in the last few weeks I have posted 2 tracks from the upcoming 'Abandoned Places' record to be released on MachineKUNT Records sometimes at the end of the year(hopefully). I have a feeling this record will be very interesing once it's all done. Interesting because the songs that compiled the 'Sirens EP' were written across a very large span of time. Some of those songs were the very first songs I ever wrote even before I was sure about being 'Lady Parasyte' , if that makes any sense. This time around I'm working on a bunch of songs over a span of months(not years) and it really puts me in a different mindset. I've also started working with a new programmer...Mr. Mark Black( or the Mark Black Exxxperience) as I like to call him. You can say hi by clicking on the man in the suit with a brain in his hands located in my top friends list. We decided we are going to attempt to document future recording sessions for your amusement and entertainment...that is if your amused and entertained by such things.
Beyond that my manfriend the Brettokamos and I took a trip and visited the Milwaukee Art Muesum as well as Summerfest. If your in Milwaukee that museum is fantastic! I was soooo shocked at how cool the building itself looked. we also could not pass up the awesomeness of the cheese curds...

Ello! Just wanted to let you know that the awesome folks over at Sphere Webzine posted a wonderful review of the Sirens EP. Definitely check it out along with lots of other interesting news, interviews and articles on EBM,electronic, darkwave and industrial acts.
CD Review: LadyParasyte - Sirens EP Written by The Dom Chicago-natives LadyParasyte make modern Goth and darkwave music with a menacing edge. The opening track ‘Sirens’ blends brutal samples with pulsating beats and tormented vocals that will remind in parts of Android Lust, Collide and the EBM-fuelled Arch Enemy. To read the completle review click here. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Spread the word. Spread the sound. Spread the butter! Oh yeah...giggitygoo...
