Hi folks, until this point I have used live journal as the place where I post my daily or in my case since I sometimes am lazy and don't post semi daily day in the live of Nick McGlynn events. I have now discovered that myspace can be used for blogging as well as for putting up a small amounts of assorted photos, and connecting with friends and acquaintances from around the globe. I have chose to begin my myspace blog because I am about to embark on a new chapter of my life. A little story I have titled "homecoming" and no this isn't a story of returning to my old high school because I have already done that and it is completely different. I am not exaggerating they actually completely remodeled the whole school so it is literally completely different. Anyway I digress as I usually do because I have ADD; you know what rhymes with ADD? DDT, and you never hear about that stuff anymore. Anyway back onto topic, where was I, that's right blogging or something. Ok new chapter. As some of you know I have been living in New Orleans for the last almost a year. I moved down back in May 2005 just in time for a natural disaster. As if being in NYC for "nine eleven" and "the blackout" wasn't enough I needed to add the natural element of disaster to my resume. Anyway long story short after Katrina got some FEMA money that has been slowly dwindling because of my lifestyle choices living in the French quarter. I also opened a bakery called "the vintage cafe" selling baked goods out of my 1964 Yellowstone travel trailer witch I presently reside in. the cafe was shout down at the start of the new year because of the obvious lack of permits and such. After that I came to New York for a visit then went to Portland to deal with testifying in court because I was robbed by a murderer. Needless to say I hope he enjoyed stolen items because he was sent back to prison. After that I went to Colorado and did some skiing and then came back to New Orleans. Instead of yadda, I can only describe the next few events as drama, drama, drama, and I now live in a trailer down by the river. Scott then moved down here to New Orleans to get work doing demolition but unfortionally due to some ball dropping at the borders all those jobs have been taken by Mexicans. So now onto the present. Mardi gras is just a few days away and I am determined to enjoy the hell out of it and after it is over Scott and I are going to drive back to the northeast where I will reside for the time being until something else drives me to travel or I have to go back to school in the fall. Whatever comes first I guess. So I have one more year left at Pratt and I will finish it come fall 2006 but in the meantime I can only assume I will get a job find somewhere to live in NYC and love every minute of it. I guess that's all I have to say for now. Tune in next week where we find out if it's: bowling for bullwinkle or rocky drops the ball.
