Hi and Happy Father's day!

First of all, thank you so much to everyone who came to the Beacon theater, that night was so amazingly happy... Then after, i saw so many people from my life- tons of friends and family and some people i hadn't seen in years, and of course, tons of you whom i don't know, but get to play to, anyway... that always amazes me... Who are ya? How can you be there if i don't know you... hmmm... well, it's just very very cool. Thank you!

Now... The record is coming out real soon. On Tuesday June 23rd. And Today is Sunday the 21st. Holy mother of father's day! I can't believe it's happening right soon like that... yeah, i know it's not the most poetic way to write, but i am just too happy to be poetic. Sometimes it's just "FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!! WOW!!!"

I am about to go on a Europa & UK tour, playing my own shows and festivals. My good friend Reggie Watts will be opening, and he is awesome! I'm gonna have Dan on cello, K on violin, and McKenzie on drums! So cool! Right before that I will do Good morning America (super early- on Tues, June 23rd!!!it's an unnatural time to sing, people... but everyone on that show is so nice! if i had to work that early, everyday, i would probably be evil...) Beth on viola and Yoed on 2nd cello (cello power!!!) will join in on TV...

And i'm recording the David Letterman show on Monday, June 22nd. But it will be aired on Friday, June 26th... Ahh, the magicals of TV land.

So-

I know on Tuesday my record will come out in some different ways, and though i may be a bit confused myself (and reserve the right to type accidental bull shit) i will try to clarify so you can make decisions...

Far (regular- physical copy-means you can hold it:-)- this is an all cardboard folded sleeve with a CD with 13 songs on it. It has production notes and thank yous right on the sleeve, but no lyrics booklet. 

Far (special edition- physical copy ) This is also an all cardboard sleeve- but double- it has a CD with 15 songs on it. 13 that are the record and 2 bonus songs (Time is All Around, and The Sword & the Pen) And a DVD disk with 4 videos on it (Laughing With, Eet, Dance Anthem of the 80's, and Man of a thousand faces) It also has lyrics in it, and pretty pictures drawn next to the lyrics. It is also all cardboard. Yeah!

Far (fan edition- physical copy- stupid title, i know... ) It is the same as the special edition with 15 songs, and 4 videos and a lyrics booklet, but also gets sent with a limited edition numbered lithograph. This one can only be ordered direct from my website.

Far (regular iTunes) This is the 13 songs record, plus a bonus song. Riot Gear is the bonus song

Far (special edition iTunes) it is the 13 songs from regular, 2 bonus songs (Time is All Around, The Sword &the Pen) and 4 videos, plus Riot Gear.

p.s. we have only begun posting dates for the fall tour, so there will be tons more in America, and a possible return to Europe for a couple of weeks somewhere in there too...!!! then more of the world in the winter and spring! can't wait!!!
