Dear friends,

The visions that constantly wander my mind, begging to be realized, to escape from imagination to reality, are beginning to reach their goal.  The record progresses. That progress is slow and tired, but nevertheless, it is steady.  Melodic instruments completed, I have moved onto percussion.  Currently I am preparing rough mixes of four songs to enter in the EMP's Sound Off.  That project coming to light, I have deleted the demos that have been posted on my page, for they have become pretty embarassing for me.  Soon, some of these rough mixes may find their way onto my page and hopefully offer a better representation of my songs.  In other news, I have begun writing what I have imagined to be an EP following this record.  I'm excited for a chance to share some new songs.  I may keep consistently updating this, especially if it seems people have an interest.    Until then.

Love,
-R.A.J.

Phantom, Phantom!

A shadow against night.

You cannot hide, for your eyes burn bright.

Deep fires ablaze with sight;

A vision lost in wonder,

Built on hope, trapped in fright.

Two stars in the sky.

With all asleep, the moon risen high,

Envious, they watch, they cry.

Their lonliness is caught

in the air of the everlasting sigh.

Myself inside,

beneath, below.

Though a desire above

Tears my soul.

But your fires reveal

the feelings we share

A dispition so black and rare.

Our humble dreams

keep crumbling

But to unite, I sing!

Would reconcile fear and hope,

us to love.

And therein flow the gentle streams

of paradise.

Angel, Angel!

A gentle candle for this life.

Fierce winds plead for fight.

Come close, close and tight.

Together behind my shield against,

The vicious touch connot try.

Angry confidence lives a lie,

for I will never let you die.
