Current mood: thankful
Hello again,
Communication has never been our strong suit, so I'm writing this in order to clear up some misconceptions.
I don't know exactly where it started, but the rumor that DIT Fest was our last show is false. When I arrived in Kent, people almost immediately began asking me about this and I didn't have a good answer because we, as a band, hadn't really discussed anything.
The reason we play music together is to have fun and to share it with our friends. That's all. We don't expect anything else out of what we do. It's true that our activity as a band has slowed down in recent months, but its a result of circumstance, not a conscious decision to "break up."
If DIT Fest this year taught me anything, its that we have the best friends we could ask for, and even if we only play that one show every year (although I hope its not the case), it would be enough for me.
What I'm trying to say here is that as long as we have as much fun as we did last weekend, we're going to keep doing this, and I hope that you all will continue to come out and be a part of it with us.
Thanks for everything.
Love, Kevin

Current mood: excited
Hello everyone!
This is Kevin writing to you just to touch base.
As some of you know, we haven't been playing many shows lately. We have all been very busy, we did not stop loving each other or music or you. Dan up and got married, Paul's bustin' his buns five days a week to bring home the proverbial bacon, Richard's studying his brains out, Matt's been doing American War and Sidekicks stuff touring all over the damn place, and I've been away at school.
BUT, I'm extremely happy to say that we will be playing not one, but TWO shows this coming weekend. Friday 5/29 in beautiful Athens, OH, and 5/30 in Columbus. I can assure you that good times will be had by all who attend, and I'm encouraging you to do so.
I'm also proud to say that we will be pitching in 15 minutes of pure unadulterated testosterone to the fourth installment of Bereafest in July.
In summation, we will be pushing it to the limit this weekend, and perhaps taking it beyond the limit come Bereafest. I hope that I see you all soon and one love.
Yours, Kevin

Current mood: excited
HELLO!
Hey everybody, this is Kevin and I am writing you from my friend James' house in Gaithersberg (or something like that), MD.! We're all pretty effin drunk and we're having a great time on this here tour. Despite the fact that Paul and Matt died from West Nile and I've had to bury two of my best friends, the tour has been going extremely well and I've been having the time of my life.
Last night we were in Richmond, VA, and we played this rage place called Nara Sushi. The owner gave us free sushi and we met a bunch of fantastic people including Lewis and everyone from Bound to Bolt + Friendly Fire and also Patrick, Casey, Ashley, and Danielle. AWESOME!!!! We also got free sushi which tastes great and fills a band like NTA right up. We also met some awesome people at this bar called The Border who filled us up with food although we asked them for nothing. Southern hospitality is real, BELIEVE IT!
After we woke up at Lewis' place we drove up to Baltimore and got caught in unbelievable traffic. Yes, the East Coast really is that populated. Anyways, my dude Ryan Ford came all the way out to Baltimore although he missed the entire set (what a dweeb), and brought us to a raging party in which we could drink away the fact that we all have to go back to our normal lives in a day or two and quit being a touring band (and consequently doing what we really love), at least for a while, which was fantastic for all of us daydreaming star-struck friends.
Anyhow, Maryland was fantastic for us, Charm City Art Space was wonderful in every way and all the people were friendly as FUCK! All the people at James' house got us drunk and treated us like royalty and we couldn't be any luckier to meet the people that we have on this ridiculous foray into the great unknown United States and I just want to take this opportunity to thank everyone, let me just say everyone because there are way too many people to thank individually.
Tomorrow we will be in Johnstown, PA with a friendly crowd including Endless Mike and his Beagle Club, The Static Transistor, and The Riot Before (3 fucking incredible bands that will surely make our last show of our first tour one of the most memorable events of our lives).
We have had an incredible time on this tour and I truly believe that from here we can only improve and continue to meet amazing people across this United States as well as become a better band. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU AGAIN!!!!!!!
To everyone that hasn't been thanked by name already, you have made our first tour an incredible and most definitely unforgettable experience, thank you for everything and I really cannot wait to see you all again. I personally love each and every one of you individually with every ounce of love in my being and I promise we will be back as soon as we can all make it work in order to see you again. Thanks for everything and I hope we'll see you at Berea Fest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love always, Kevin!!!

i am here in the landmark whole-tell/(last) resort, on the beach, with andy, lindsay and us goofs. wewewe swam and were naked. kevin wore a red chord shirt and fell asleep on the beach. matt lost his pants in the ocean, we stood and laughed like jerks.
louisville- skull alley is a great place. everyone we met in louisville is super nice. austin eilbeck showed up... disaster march played there last show with us. stayed up late talking with tyler about how good of a movie 'true lies' is, among other things. everyone said i couldn't eat a bug that landed in my everclear. everyone got malaria.
florence- 511 house is a great place. david and all the 511ers were so hospitable. andy metzger showed up... some kid threw up during our last song!!!!!!!!!!!!!! paul just thought it was beer. a man with long stringy hair and whiskey breath told me to listen to 'crack sabbath' and if i gave him a cd, if i put one in his hand, he would force people to listen to it. damn-dood. a man got out of prison for the first time in ten years and asked paul and i for some money, ("it would be a blessing") but we only had plastic, so paul just bummed him a smoke instead.
it was sticky icky and everyone's very welcoming. we are living luxury for today and yesterday then we go to richmond, baltimore, and johnstown.
i forgot ziebs was laughing really hard one time. and it made us all laugh hard. real hard. i liked it.

"9 Jerks Tour"
Days 3 & 4
Welp....to make a long story short, we all have west nile, yellow fever, the whooping cough, and/or malaria. SERIOUSLY! Chicago was a badass place. After learning from our mistakes from the previous night we managed to make it all the way downtown where we saw a ginourmous, reflective bean. We then proceeded to stare at the Sear's Tower for about 5 minutes before playing a pick-up game with the Chicago Bulls. They beat the living shit out of us, but they were totally cool about it. After the game we all realized we had a show to play in Lake Villa (mosquito capital of the world) so we all started to drink heavily. Fast forward to about 3 hours and we are in Lake Villa at the venue drinking (illegally) in the parking lot. We rocked the shit out of that place so much that Jive Records signed us to a 7 record multi-million dollar deal, but we turned it down because we all enjoy paying $4.50 a gallon. I seriously could not believe how bad the mosquito situation was. We were bit some many times that at least 3 of us is careering some sort of a life threatening disease. Anyhoo, Chicago=Fun, thanks again Becky!
Now on to Cincinnati!
We played at a place called the Blue Rock Tavern where the owner is really fucking cool. I scored some X off a tranny in a back alley and we all got totally fucked up, but thats neither here nor there. It was such a fun show, especially when the audience is made up of Disaster March. We were paid in cases of beer (fo real!) and headed back to our best buddy in the whole wide world of sports' place, Dujuan. Upon arrival, we all decided to beat up a homeless man. Whatever, don't you dare fucking judge us we are just trying to get by.
"Where are all these fucking buildings at you dumb motha fucka you?"

"NINE JERKS TOUR" Day 1 and Day 2: Shit on a dick! After playing our first show in Lexington Kentucky, we've finally realized that maybe this band shit is just something we were never cut out for. We've come to terms with the fact that we are just a bunch of drunken assholes who think they are "musicians." Right now I'm typing this blog from an apartment in Chicago owned by a very generous human being named Becky who has graciously allowed a bunch of no talent douche bags sleep at her place while she's away. Yikes! After arriving, we all decided to experience the Chicago night life........we ate pizza and got lost. Tomorrow we are playing a show in Swing State, Illinois--should be an awful time with horrible music. Right now Kevin from Disaster March is wearing a fake moustache that he found in Becky's apartment, he looks like a child molestor..... -Orzo

Current mood: adventurous
Hello to everyone in myspace land,
I just spent the last hour sending emails, looking at myspaces, and daydreaming about traveling around with my buddies and playing shows every single day and I wanted to share my excitement with all of you. Right now we only have 5 dates left to book and promising leads on 4 of the 5. We've never worked so hard as a band and each one of us have worked really hard to make this thing come together. I feel really lucky to be able to do this and I'm really excited about actually going through with the tour. I have no idea what to expect and I wish we could bring all of you familiar people that give us big sweaty hugs whenever we walk into the Soggy Dog with us. I also hope to meet new sweaty hugs out on the road. Anyway, that's just my rambling and I'll probably regret this blog when everyone makes fun of it with comments! But wish us luck finishing this thing and thanks to everyone who has helped, I mean it!
-Kevin

the A-Team,
We have a show tonight (feb. 16th) at Kent Roosevelt High School and right afterwards we are heading to Stow to record our new songs. Full band stuff. It's going to be wicked. Also, some acoustic stuff, which will be equally as wicked. Hopefully within the next week or two, we will have the new stuff posted. So, be prepared for awesomeness.
Salutations,
Bobby Knight
