Recording is progressing well with all instruments and vocals tracked late in March.  The six songs are currently being mixed at Tolerant Audio HQ.  Can't wait to hear them...stay tuned.

...and remember 5th May , Valve Bar Wellington...the FINAL Stingfish show and our CD release.  Currently confirmed to be joining Stingfish that night are: The Ramps, Hellserpoppin and Vocoder.

Stingfish have decided to disband after completing the recording of their second cd and will play a final cd release show on Sat 5 May at Valve Bar in Wellington. 

Recording of 6 rocking tracks kicks off this weekend with Blair from Tolerant Audio.

Simon Allison from Wgtn band CopCar has joined Stingfish (temporarily) on bass and we're working towards some demo recording in Feb '07.  We're looking to demo half a dozen new tracks.  Also, look out for a gig or two...

We're still on the lookout for a fulltime bassist, so if you're keen drop us a line.

Stingfish sadly announce that bassist Steve has left the band to pursue other musical interests. Please read on and if you or someone you know fits the description get in touch ASAP.

Stingfish are a four-piece Wellington band, playing 'driving melodic rock'. They have recorded and released a 5-track EP, played numerous gigs and achieved radio play. Stingfish play live regularly in Wellington and out of town and are planning to record early in 2007.

Well it's been a good start to the year.  Ben joined as the new drummer in Feb and since then we've written a few new tracks and played two shows.  We'll be kicking out another new song next thursday (4 May) up at Eastside at Vic uni.  We play at 6pm.  Come along, have a beer and check it. 

Also in June we're supporting Tourist, who are touring in support of a new single.  So we'll be up in the Naki for our first show there on Fri 2 June and also playing Bodega with them on Sat 3 June.
