what's good everybody,
i just thought i'd take a break from failing at writing to update you on just exactly what's been going on lately.
first off, a big big thank you to everyone who has purchased the Rush Hour album, i've received nothing but positive comments. (i know it's not like anyone who bought it is gonna tell me if they think its lame) but still, i really appreciate the love and support.
what's crazy is, that album was basically written and recorded about a year ago! damn! that's crazy, right? i plan on doing youtube videos for a couple of the songs like "Fa'Sho" and "I'm Alive" just to help promote the cd a little bit. there were also talks of doing a real official video with PDFlo for "Fly With Me," but i'm not sure exactly when that's going down yet, cuz we are working on another big big project right now.
what is this crazy project, you ask? WELL, me, PDFlo, eGO and Ricky Shucks are all hard at work on preproduction for a MUSICAL, that's right, our first ever MUSICAL. and this shit is legit, like i'm talking... 2 hour long, a shitload of extras, a 13 track soundtrack, sex scenes, and more more more!
So this is why I haven't really been putting out a lot of new music, cuz most of my time has been spent writing and arranging a lot of the songs. we got some dope songs though, with production from my boy The Heir (From The Ghetto feat Lil Crazed) and Mysto and Pizzi (Kings of Youtube, Geico commercial) and what's crazy is, not only are we rapping, we are SINGING, too. that's right, i am SINGING! lol...
but don't trip, i have new tracks coming out. i've finished a couple tracks with D-Pryde and The Werd which should be dropping in the near future, workin on one for Audible, the myspace homie J-Bigga, and me and Dumbfoundead (crazy asian battle rapper) have also been discussing a collab. so stay tuned.
in addition to that, me and Ricky Shucks aka Big Rick have a newly formed duo "5 Empty Pocketz" and we will be releasing our debut track very VERY soon! it's a jerkin track (lol hey what can i say, i'm from cali and i love that shit) with a chance for everybody to be in the video for it. also look for a mixtape from us dropping as soon as this musical is completed.
so that is all for now, as always, imma keep puttin out youtube videos when i can to make you laugh and keep you entertained.
