Tag, You're It!

Here's how you play: Once you've been tagged you have to write a blog with 10 weird, random, facts, habits or goals about yourself, at the end choose 10 people to be tagged, list their names and why you tagged them. Don't forget to leave them a comment saying "Tag! You're It!" and to go read your blog. 1.  My forgetfulness scare scare scares me.

2.  I want a goat farm.  I'm in love with fainting goats.  I want to get a thousand of them and then run and scream and be loud and watch them all faint in a ripple.

3.  I don't watch a lot of television (sitcom) because I just can't handle watching people be uncomfortable...I don't think it's funny.  It gives me a stomach ache.  You know it's going to work out...you've seen this episode before...why do we have to go through 17 minutes of watching these people act like they think it's not going to work out?  Ouch...my stomach.

4.  I'm a total sucker for packaging and free gifts.  I'm a consumer.

5.  I secretly wish I was a lot more like my sister.

6.  Lots of things make my stomach hurt.

7.  I'm a beekeeper and I'm allergic to bees.

8.  I also want two donkeys on my goat farm and their names will be Noah and Leah.

9.  I've never been able to do a cartwheel.

One of my favorite places is Matagorda Bay...

..My new passion...I've decided to bee a beekeeper.  Honey for everyone!!!

All I wanted to do on my birthday (since I couldn't see my boyfriend) was prepare my apiary.  I'm almost ready for the arrival of my bees.  50,000-80,000 bees = a LOT of names.  I've been thinking of different titles for the whole operation...if you come up with anything good let me know. I'm thinking of doing all the beekeeping topless and calling it "Boobees."  Here are some pictures...Not topless ones!

April 11, 2007: 
I got another hive tonight.  This one probably got to my house with about 25,000 bees.  So I'm only naming my queens.  Today I brought home Miss Mona and she'll be sitting next to Fancy


March 25, 2007:
I got my first bees today.  It is the most exciting thing!  I kind of feel like a new mom bringing her baby home (40,000 babees!) who may have no idea how to take care of them!  But hopefully we'll all be doing fine.  I think it's going to be great.  And delicious.  I've decided to call my apiary "Boobees" and when I eventually get my donkeys I'll call the whole farm "Boobies and Asses".  They came from La Grange, TX and were living right next door to where the old chicken ranch stood.  That's right, the whorehouse.  Sweet.
