Hi Everyone,

we simply had the most incredible time at Glasto 2008. We did a total of 5 shows over the weekend @ the fluffy rock cafe in the green field. Massive thanks to everyone who came and supported us !!!!

GLASTO 2008 OP REVIEW FOR PAPER-

- The Operation's experience of Glastonbury 2008 has been simply incredible. It was one of the best times of my life. We did a total of 5 shows on the fluffy rock cafe in the green field. The cafe is an old circus tent with enough room to generate a big crowd.

It was superb to see so many people come and watch us, we played to literally thousands of people over the weekend. There were people as far as i could see, even stacked up outside the tent. From the moment we started playing we were pulling in the crowds, I think they really enjoyed hearing a hard rock band with big songs. By the Sunday show everyone was singing along with us. We sold 100's of cd's. It has been extremely beneficial for us and has helped get our music out to a lot of people. I think we might have had Jay Z's live band in the crowd on the Sunday and they were loving it. 5 American hip hoppers rocking out with us.

We've had some amazing comments from people in the crowd such as- "You should on the Pyramid stage next year.....Band of the weekend.....I'm going to write to Michael Eavis and tell him you should be on a bigger stage" All of this, from hundreds of people everyday it was an amazing feeling. Knowing that you are somebodies band of the weekend with such a vast amount of talent performing all around the festival is incredible.

The best bands I saw on the weekend were We Are Scientists, Sea Sick Steve (who blew us all away, a very humble performance), The Verve,
Seth Lakeman and The Raconteurs. There was so much good music about it was hard to catch it all.

A massive thanks to Louise, Nick, Vuso and everyone who was involved in The Fluffy Rock Cafe. The best stage at Glasto 2008.
