Current mood:  complacent

A management position has recently become available

Since curiosity killed the cat

Died a slow and painful death

While sifting through deleted profiles

And that dopey confession

That you inadvertently prompted

The unwarranted criticism from the peanut gallery

Displays your amiability

Or so he says…

He says they’re happy because they’re eating lard

And asks, “Any relation to ..Kama..?”

Chucklehead, knucklehead

Wap voicestream whitenoise

Calling all artists and musicians

To be a reader of my blog

Disappointed?

It should be concerning

Afterall, it’s been awhile

And hey sweetie,

In case you missed it

This one was a little interesting to me…

He called me a little webtard

And then asked me to take a quiz

Just 20 questions, no big deal

Then I can feel like I really know you

Give me a call so we can discuss

Blackberries, blueberries, nature girls and zombies

Pitchers and belly-itchers

And Sonny Boy Williamson

God rest his soul

I’m so over the drama

Addiction

And blogging on my life

I’ve been invited to join the life sentences blog group

But I’m lost on decade two

And the widget on my profile has been deleted

So maybe it’s time for me to go

But I loved you myspazz

Sorry the first link didn’t work

Try this one instead

Graceful bow

Flirty wink

Peace out!

Spontaneous combustion

Of whispers to shouts

Creaky wooden doors

Lack the guts to keep me out

My love cannot be bound

Cannot be labeled

It has no name

Eerie, faceless apathy

Clearly, I’m insane!

Maddening marbles

Which weigh two tons each

Boulder the caves of my skull

As caribou contend

With paper doll spokesmen

Looks like they’re here

To sell me my soul

Current mood:  amorous

He calls her woman king

And his heartstrings tell the story

Of so much lost

In the name of glory; and love

For that matter

Or does it?

He calls her woman king

As she climbs a mountain of lust

Aching for a pleasant surprise

Or a sparkle of hope

In her lover’s eyes

Sweet lady of the mourn

She fumbles for the clock

Ticks so loudly

May it never stop

Every tender word he writes

Like porn

She curls her toes

Pondering, pondering

The riddles of the jester

Who’s been left to rule the kingdom

High atop a painted horse

Sings a song of freedom; as he

Slaps her with a joke

Puts a smile on remorse

How does he make her so insane?

And why does that beast

Eat his own brain?

In spite of himself

Silly men

All the same

But she is woman king

And he calls her out by name

I am rebelling against

The mindset of poverty

Believing that

I have a choice

I awaken my senses

I open my eyes

I open my mouth

Because I have a voice

Forward toward

The destabilization of “truth”

And onward

Past darkest skies

I find it within me

To be supreme

I find it within me

To swim past the lies

I am my own savior

I am my own king

I make my own virtue

I mend my own wings

I am only as bold

As I dare to be

I am impervious to doubt

I am strength

I am me

Down the road from where I used to live
There is a girl

Gently she sways with the wind

In a melancholy daze

She is delicate

Intricate

Detached

Her hair blows in the wind

And she allows the sun to steal a kiss

But only for a moment

Conscious of the ramifications

Of too much love

That old swing creaks

With rusted joint

But she is miles away

And not to be bothered

With such trivial things

The boys watch her

Beautiful head in the clouds

Hoping that one day

She will kindly

Daydream of them

And the girls

Curl an eyebrow

At the sight of

Her homemade dress

Unaware of her own force

And growing weary of the moment

She takes her smile

And broken tea set

To begin the trek

On that long road home

Liquid seduction

Passes over me

Like warm honey

And innocence

It's vibro-acoustic

Tonal insane

Blurs the lines

Between pleasure

And pain

Once again

You got me

Down on all fours

But today I stood tall

Couldn't fit through the doors

That slammed in my face

I've chosen this place

And I have no fear

My vision is clear

In pursuit of madness

In pursuit of a dream

Following closely

This goose pimple stream

Down the small of my back

Past the light of the moon

Take it in slowly

Give it some room

Give it some light

Give it some food!

Give me what I ask of you

In a slip-easy

Passionate

Tourniquet

Haze

I'm dreaming at night

I'm counting the days…

A strong wind swept me from the side

As I crossed the bridge last night

And for a moment; I thought

I might be gone

Carrying on I pondered upon

The sound behind the silence

And how logic

And emotion

Are not compatible working partners

And how I need to find a home for JuJu

And how memories leave a funny taste in my mouth

And I wondered if you thought of me

A secret between you and your dreams

And I wondered if you would miss me

If the wind had had its way

I wondered to what capacity

We would change each other's lives

I wondered if knowing you meant

I would never be the same

And then just like that

The bridge was gone

The winds died down

And all was calm

But I am thankful

Beaten out

Cruel tempo

Pounding through the truth

In brazen chord

Words are sung

In abstract verse

But we both know

You pierce my heart

This heart

Weather beaten

 Lovers torn

But who will fight?

What is honor?

"Such an absent love"

He sings to me

As if he knows

I break these strings

I break these strings

I break these strings

                                                          For you

Wound so tight

They can't make a sound

I bend at my knees

In spite of the truth

I was your angel

Broken wings

To keep you warm

I was your song

Broken verse

To mend your mind

                                             Damn the silence!

I may never learn...

With a saltwater smile

She knows me like forever

Follows me to the bay

As I've just run out of tears

When turmoil finds a way

Of teaching us together

Then words are never lost

In spite of simple fears

Inspiration has a place

And time

Just like the seasons

I have crossed your path

And yours mine

For not-so-obvious reasons

But together with a crooked glance

We know a secret story

A treasure chest

A blossom of hope

A different kind of glory

Tunneling spherical madness

An ipsilateral quandary

In utero

In waiting

A catechism

Aching reply

Multi-tasking mends a mind

Of vagrant thoughts

And voracious emptiness

Old souls

Mingle

In new light as I

Call you out

From the darkness

And you reply

With tangled conundrum

I was unaware

Of this language barrier

Current mood:  apathetic
Category: Dreams and the Supernatural

She calmly visits the ladies room

To quickly powder her nose

She has lines on her face

But the fear never shows

She really wants a JFK

But knows that she's no Jackie

Surrounded by silver spoon debutants

But always caught in khaki

She can foxtrot,

Sure

And tango

And waltz

She can analyze stocks

She can see all his faults

One line then two

Pain soon be gone

Over the rainbow

Escape to beyond

The red velvet curtain

Ladies of the night

Glass bottom stage

Indigo light

She'll beat this one day

And they'll all turn to see

Pillars of salt

And she will be free

My delusion of you

Spans the limits of my horizon

As I drift away

For want of a dream

And my lips guide my breath

From this world to the next

I am in debt to your presence

Do you find me verbose

Am I too obtuse

Do I love you too loudly

With this polka-dot noose?

I would bake this cake

If I could find the ingredient

That would remove the

Bitterness; of the slice you just

Smeared; across my face

I would climb this tree

And embrace its branches

If they became so morose

That I could actually reach them

If I went away

In search of another dream

Would you lie in ruins? How

Would you explain my absence?

Could you take the cold

Without my arms to tell you that all

Is not lost

Would you strike a deal

With tomorrow

To get back today

If

I

Were so bold

As to just

Go

Away
