There are quite a few lists of horror actresses out there! Horrornews.net has their very own "Horror Vamps" list featured on their site with some women who are not always mentioned and should be. Check it out on the homepage and click on "Horror Vamps" on the left column. You can scroll up and down on the right of the list and see me somewhere on there. This site has daily updates of news about all things horror. Thanks to everyone there for the page. Also, keep checking with me for BIG updates about projects in the works. It looks like 2009 is going to be a busy year:)

Also, there is a tell-all interview with Dustin about the nightmare we had trying to clone Christ and getting " For Christ's Sake filmed. Joel D. Wynkoop has a hilarious interview in it! There is also a film called " Cannibal Cheerleader Camp that looks like a lot of fun that is featured. Great cover art also. You guys can download the pdf of this for only $3 but the printed issue looks beautiful at only $8 also. Find it here: Shriekfreak official site

Gay or not, you cannot deny it is odd that certain politicians keep getting married, divorced, and remarried. Still they say that gays will ruin the sanctity of marriage. This Friday Florida Gov. Crist will get remarried in St Pete, FL. John McCain is also expected to attend, who has also been divorced and remarried. This discrimination needs to stop! Please help support equality at a peaceful protest this Friday. From all of us who could not make it- THANK YOU! thanks to Michael Kenneth Fahr for making this flyer and helping those who organized this event

Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend! I know I did because the leftovers have been gone for days:) Just back for another one of my quick rants that will probably piss a few more people off.
To start off, I am a self managed actor/ model. There it is! Actor/Model. Why do we actor/ models always put actor first? I was just contacted by an agent in NYC to get me work for modeling which I thought was weird because I am more of an actor type. My education, experience and my look (to me anyway) are all in favor of acting for the camera. (theatre is not for me). But I thought, "Why the F*ck am I being this way?" Modeling is easy money and anyone who has the opportunity to do it should be proud and feel privileged. The more I am out there looking for actors to cast in projects I am noticing that the ones who are models also (mostly girls) keep saying that modeling isn't something they do completely- just on the side. At this point, I wish I had some of the modeling experience that these girls had! I would feel better about going in to an agency and getting work. Although, a weekly bikini wax and watching everything you eat would suck, the money and getting your image seen all seems good. Why are all of us running away from this? In favor of 15 hour days where you are mostly waiting around for sets to be ready, no a/c, dealing with other people forgetting their lines, temper tantrums, and (as we horror girls know) being covered in blood or prosthetics for hours a day. Why? Ya, we ALL love it and creative fulfillment if course. But it seems we don't love modeling as much. Is it because models are seen as not that smart? Models are hot and they always get laid and they usually get paid more than actors. That is nothing to be ashamed of ladies. Being an actor can at times seem thankless. Beauty is always appreciated. (not as much on film sets when one can NOT act)
So this leaves me with a decision about going pro as a model. Maybe if I did make more money and get more exposure why not? I can still call myself an actor/model.

I want to again thank Nic for giving me the opportunity to do this interview and for asking me the great questions that he came up with. All of you should enjoy reading it as well as the other interviews with some of the best actors and filmmakers in the business. Let me know what you guys think! And please don't be afraid to be as outspoken as you like:) link: Nicola Fiore interview at Bmovieman.comAlso, check out Nic Brown's new book: Blood Curse: Werewolf for hire

Thanks to Jon Moody who has been doing Independent Corner for over 2 years. It was a great opportunity to talk about my work and where I am coming from. Jon has had me on 3 times prior and this. This time we got to talk about juicy topics. How I got to where I am in the business, my view on the election, my sexuality, and my pet peeves. (yes, the blog I posted last week). The show is also available on iTunes as a free podcast which is cool. Thanks to everyone who called in and all the support. It is much appreciated.
