After some months of silence, we're happy to announce a couple of news:
First of all, Edge Of Dawn has completed remixes of Standeg's "Retribution" and Obscenity Trial's "My Mind Your Mind". The latter remix can be downloaded for free here. Recently, Metropolis Records released the 2CD compilation "Metropolis:Rebirth 1.0". The first CD contains contributions from the label's electronic artists, while the second CD showcases rock-oriented bands. Edge Of Dawn contributes the song "Split Second" from the "Borderline Black Heart" EP. Furthermore, an exclusive Edge Of Dawn remix of "Pray For Love" is available on the newly released "Elektrisch Vol.3" compilation (Major Records).
In addition, an interview with Mario can be found in the issue 2007/05 of German Synthesizermagazin, alongside articles about Dave Gahan, Underworld, Die Krupps, and Nitzer Ebb. The interview provides an insight into the technical aspects of the music of Edge Of Dawn. Mario has also started doing production work for the German Electro Pop band ReActivate and plans to produce other artists in the future.
Frank has just returned from the recent US-Tour with Seabound and has been busy collaborating with Diskonnekted (Belgium), Liquid Divine (Germany), and working with Jean-Marc of The Weathermen on their project Ghost & Writer.
Most importantly though, new Edge Of Dawn material is in the works! Five new tracks in varying stages of production are currently on the roaster, including interesting collaborations with fellow artists to be revealed at a later stage. Stay tuned for more info: www.edgeofdawn.de
