We are now in London. London Fucking England. I just had an amazing cup of tea, some other kind of cordial drink and am hanging out with some great people. We have a show tonight and it should be pretty fucking cool. 5 bands tonight.
We traveled over here across the English Channel from France on a huge ferry at around 1 in the morning. We all hung out on the observation deck, drinking Jager and braving the cold windy weather. We saw the white cliffs of Dover as we landed. We had to sleep in the van, all of us, for the first time this tour when we landed since it was so late. But now we are settled down here in South London, gathering our chi, and relaxing.
It's the last leg of the tour. And a great fucking tour it has been so far. These shows are going to fucking rock. FUCKING ROCK.
That's about all I can say now... The road is killing my body and mind, for sure.

We played a fucking great show last night at a club called the AK 47 in Dusseldorf. It was so fucking bad ass. It gets no more punk rock than that. Stage volumed amps blasting, not miked up, everyone going apeshit. It was a fucking blast. We played with some bad ass bands too. It was a great night.
Fucking Ueltzen kicked ass as normal.
Now, we are off to hit up the UK leg of the tour. Then back to Germany to fly out. Good times.
Cheers,
~N

We are in the Czech Republik now, at the bar, drinking and getting sorted out. The last few days have been a lot of hard driving and riding and madness. We played 4 countries in as many days, Austria, Germany, Italy, and Czech... and not necessarily in that order. To put an order to the places we've been recently is an absolute impossibility... at least for me.
The days and nights are blurred together and often are. It isn't a rarity that the sun is fully up before we decide to hang it up for the "night". Bars stay open until everyone leaves... We have been taking advantage to the hilt and we often forget what day it is. Fuck, I left my watch at home and can only really orient myself when I get the rare privilege of getting on the net and reconnecting to the world. But fuck time. As long as we make it to where we need to go when we need to be there, all is OK, and Stephan handles that department, Thomas drives, so I am off the hook.
We are doing well, enjoying the beer and liquor and rock n' roll and whatnot. Life is good.
The Austrian gig was insane. It was a Guest House in the middle of farm land, in the middle of fucking nowhere. But come night, the kids came out in force and packed the place out. They were stoked and we were too. it was a great great great fucking time.
Italy was amazing too. After the show, we went swimming in the lake del Garda... Stripped down to our skivies and just jumped the fuck in. It was fucking beautiful and insane. We were fueled on Menta... Ace bought a bottle. Something about that concoction...
Berlin was great as always and our Czech show last night was AWESOME. We played in a church and the sounds was strange, however, we figured it out and everyone had a great time... There was a bar in the church, btw.
We have another Czech show tonight, only 20 Km away from the last. We expect a few repeat offenders for a 2 pack ND show. This club seems like a bad ass place and the Czech people are fucking awesome. It's a fucking blessing to not have to drive 7 hours today. Now, we can relax and drink and sort ourselves out proper tonight.
Stay tuned for more shenanigans from the EU road.

We are now in a town called Dulman, the headquarters of our booking agents over here named City Rat. We are staying with Alex, an awesome chick. We are about to play a show in a few hours and are drinking beer here and relaxing.
We played an awesome festival in Mossingen, I believe it was, in front of 3000 crazy people. We played at dusk, right as the sun was going down and then into the night. Huge sound and huge light show. I am both blind and deaf still... We played for about an hour and 20 minutes. It is insane to see people out there singing along with the songs. We love it. We met some cool people as well and it was great. Bier...
Our first gig was at a bad ass place called the Panic Room in Essen. It was a kick ass punk rock show with Heartbreak Stereo in this huge basement under the bar.
The booze here is keeping us sane and on an even keel. Stay away from the drink called the Doktor...
Such is life from the road.
See you soon.

July 30th - Frankfurt DE
The plan we had was to stay awake until it was bedtime to acclimate ourselves to the local time here in Germany and we were fairly successful. We drank and drank and drank until we just couldn't keep awake anymore and we ended up crashing around 19:00. We then awoke around midnight and drank a bit more and crashed at 04:00 and are now up and about around 11:00.
I feel like we are on a good schedule now. Poor Dave and Abel have to play a show a few hours after they land which is tomorrow sometime. I can't wait til they get here.
Frankfurt is amazing. Johnson and I are spoiled. Our hotel room is 38 stories up and our view is amazing as well as our beds. We're soaking it up while we can knowing that it's bar floors, airbeds, hostel bunks and seat cushions from tomorrow out when the proper tour begins.
Right now, we're about to hit up breakfast and then to Betty's Bar for a pint or two. That is the place for ultimate "quiets".
The Red Light District is as they say. I substantiated the rumor yesterday. It's big and bold and beautiful. It spans a few blocks just north of Betty's Bar and is very close to our hotel. The red buildings and signs and lights weave through the city like an artery and from high above, it must indeed look like that. I would say that it is indeed sketchy, but I think that having a bit of street wisdom and a quick and careful eye is all you need to navigate it properly. It's touristy enough I reckon... but then again, most Frankfurtians seem to regard us as a bit rough around the edges... except at Betty's Bar where we made fast friends with Betty and her crew.
I will try and post pictures soon, when I can. I also don't know what the Internet status will be like on the road. Hopefully, I can find the net available wherever we are.
Until then, PROST!

July 29th - Frankfurt DE
Johnson and I landed only a couple of hours ago, our flight was delayed and there was similar shenanigans on the tarmac but we arrived at the hotel and they allowed us to check in early. We were able to purchase a bottle of Irish Whiskey and a some Stoli at the duty free shop in Chicago.
Right now, it is 2:47 PM and we are wandering around Frankfurt, the EU's big financial center in the middle of town. Our hotel is legit and we are waiting for Dave and Abel to join us in a couple of days. We have already found a few bars and the supplimental liquor from Chicago is kicking in. There is something to be said about being housed in a strange land in the early afternoon. Especially when you don..t speak the language nor know where you are. Rumor has it that there is a huge red light district about. I plan on seeing if that is indeed true.
We are about to hit up a bar here called the Betty Bar. It looks promising. Full of the madness that is turning out to be downtown Frankfurt.
Our first show is on the 31st.
Til then,
~Natch
