William Beckett, lead singer for the Academy Is ..., also knows that the numbers don't always tell the truth. He has watched as other bands shoot up the charts and score 1 songs, but if they can't fill a ballroom, he said, so what? "You certainly can't measure things in terms of units sold," Beckett said. "There are countless bands that have outsold us, but they can't fill the rooms that we do. They don't have fans that are real like our fans are real."

Sisky's Brother To Be On Survivor!!

Adam Siska's brother, Jason Siska, is going to be on Survivor Feb 7th. I haven't found out the time when it'll premiere but I will watch it even though I absolutely hate survivor.

Over the weekend I will be vacationing in a far away land with my best friend.... maybe you've heard of him.... I'll give you a hint.... it's GUY RIPLEY.

Immediately after we return to America today (Monday) he will heading over to MTV studios to interview his favorite American Sex Machines Cobra Starship.

So if you live in the NYC area it would be amazing if you would swing by TRL and show your love and support to Guy Ripley, Cobra Starship, and me... Sisky Fuckin' Business.

If you can't make it into the TRL studio then come out and throw your fangs up in Times Square and show MTV that the Decaydance family is nasty and here to stay!

Hello my friends.
I want to thank everyone for all the Happy Birthday wishes.
It was a very nice birthday, however the Bulls lost to the New York Knicks which is very upsetting.
Last night Mike Carden and I took a drive out to Evanston, Illinois to see the movie "There Will Be Blood."
When we got to the theatre I was disappointed that they weren't serving popcorn anymore because it was a late showing.
However Mike Carden got me some Twizzlers and Reese's Pieces for my birthday.
It was delicious.
The movie was excellent and Daniel Day Lewis gave a mind blowing performance.
He is my pick for best actor this year for sure.
However "No Country for Old Men" remains best picture in my eyes.

I am currently sitting on my couch watching TRL hoping to see my good friends "Cobra Starship."
I have just come to the realization that Avril Lavignes new single is terrible...

Thats all I know for know, I will write again soon.

I miss touring.
I miss The Butcher.

hey everyone!

i hope you have had a nice weekend, i trust that your holidays went well, i put up the christmas lights n my place, i thought i did a great job until the rest of my street joined in and made my effort look very unimpressive!

i went to the cricket the other day at the SCG (sydney cricket ground) australia Vs india, we won but only just, i was wearing a pretty sweet cricket hat but i still got sunburned,

mike carden has learnt the cost of a phone call from chicago to sydney australia... we talked for about 45mins... it cost him something like $130... not that im not worth it or anything...

triple j is a cool radio station in australia that i have been listening to for most of my life, once a year they do a competition called "triple js hottest 100" i would love for the academy is... to get a little triple j love this month, this really only applies to aussies because you can win some stuff, its cool... click on the box below to vote for "neighbors" by "the academy is..." it will be fun!!!


thanx to everyone who sent me get well soon messages when i was recovering from my wisdom teeth operation, im right as rain now and can eat what ever i want!
