We are happy to announce the title and tentative track listing for our next album due out spring of 2010!
   This will be a concept album documenting the end of life on earth with a much more diverse yet more brutal sound for We Are Legion. The lyrics will be more descriptive, thought provoking and disgusting. The music will be more technical, and way more brutal than "The Institution of Disharmony", overall it will put We Are Legion on the fucking map of midwest Death Metal!
   We plan to release a single very soon to give you a glimpse of whats to come so stay tuned!!!

So you want to know more about the concept do you? Well here it is in its basic form!
   
     Imagine a world filled with people, the unemployment rate is near 50%. Tenements the size of skyscrapers fill cities. The ten billionth person has just been born. A celebration spanning the entire globe has erupted, as though history was made. Though smog and waste choke every breath, cover almost every surface. There are people everywhere the eye can see. The state of humanity is dreary at best, the rich become richer and those on the street are left there to rot.  The earth itself knows this. Its consciousness stirs, as if trees, grass, and water are all its eyes.

    Events are soon to enfold that could never be predicted, that no ancient civilization could forsee. The preservation of a planet. If sunlight is the key to our survival then that will be the first to go. Governments will crumble, disease will run rampant. Chaos, disorder, and lawlessness will all come to the forefront. All while the temperature drops, and nature itself withers away, until the only thing left is ice. Glaciers will once again carve across continents. Only once all trace of past indescretions is gone can life begin again. A clean slate.

I just got it now, still hot and boiling....Fast, tight and raging death/speed metal with a slight modern twist....i even think of some Deteriorate at some point but also the blasting parts that gives you the envy of some good headbanging. The second song, i don't know the title has a different feeling, with more down tempo part and more hypnotic guitars...really something to drive you to a trance.
