To the people of WInchester,

Thank you so much for your positive vibes and feedback for our show April 9. It was awesome meeting all of you and hanging with a few of you afterwards. Definitely a good amount of great people there, and thanks again for chillin with us.

Also had a great time catching Drop Electric! You may see the two of us together again sometime. Pretty Lights was off the hook, and we look forward to heating up the stage for them again sometime soon.

peace everyone, and thanks again.

What's up everybody,

Thanks so much for a phenomenal show last night! Steez Promo proved once again who puts on the best parties in Baltimore.

EOTO truly lived up to expectations and blew my mind. Travis & Jason are definitely two of the coolest cats I've shared the stage with; very down to earth.

Segway absolutely killed it--one of the tightest crews Baltimore boasts, and they proved it again tonight. It is always an honor to heat up the stage for those guys.

Marmoset was the perfect fit to tie the show together, rocking dub-step sets during changeovers. A great young talent, keep your eye on him as well.

Last but not least, I want to thank everyone for all the love you showed us during and after our set. It was a packed-out house from the moment we started, and the vibe was definitely in the air. We felt your energy for sure, and our set was once again proof positive of your involvement.

We won't be playing Baltimore again for a little while, to focus on some other things:

Our top priority now is getting our work recorded in the studio, beginning with our full-length concept album FIND YOUR FUTURE. Expect our first single, GET SMOOTH AND SMASH THINGS, to drop before the end of May.

We're also getting regional! April 9, we take The Dance Party at The End of the Universe to Winchester, VA, to share the stage w/ Pretty Lights and Drop Electric at ZeroPak Live (Keep it Cool Productions). We're stepping up work in Philly, as well, with the help of Glass Grenade Productions, so stay tuned for that.

And if that's not enough to get your juices flowing, we are thrilled to announce that we are in the process of solidifying the lineup for a truly fun tribute project: STU9 - the music of Sound Tribe Sector Nine, as performed by STUSHIDO and friends. We'll be sure to keep you posted on these and other developments.

Everyone, thanks again, see you at STARSCAPE!! - if not sooner ;)

peace,
-stu.

just wanted to express thanks to all the beautiful people of the earth that laid it all out to throw down at hour haus over the weekend. it was a raging party when our set started, and it continued to grow by the second until it wasn't safe to carry drinks ; )

Steez Promo proved that no one else throws a better party in baltimore, Segway proved that they rip it up like no other, and we all proved to Orchard Lounge that Bmore is the place to be!!

Finally, thanks to all of you for showing the love you did for our set. The members of Vespertine Movement did a great job supporting the vibe for us, and the love you bring to us keeps this new project in business.

New shows are on the horizon, so definitely stay in touch, with this group, and the brand spankin new FB page devoted to stushido.

thanks again, and if i don't catch you sooner, see you on March 25th at Hour Haus when stushido. and Segway smash things with EOTO!

thanks to all that showed at the 8x10 friday, august 8. i have always loved playing the 8x10, and taking the stage for the first time as stushido was an absolutely surreal experience.

it was great to see my friends, and great to meet the new faces sharing in the groove. segway was off the hook as usual, and it was truly an honor to share the stage with those guys. sonkin did an excellent job keeping the house hopping in between, and psylab truly delivered their boston space jam with style.

it was definitely a well fit show, as is usual protocol with the 8x10, but the credit also goes to the boys at steez promo. they set up an awesome lineup, and paul held it down. it was an awesome party.

the 8x10 is a wicked venue, as they recorded the show, and issuing a cd to us soon. hopefully, we'll have new jams up soon. in the meantime, feel free to continue downloading our music from the 5/30/08 grog and tankard show in dc. it's there to share.

for those truly feeling the stushido groove, keep spreading the word. i have started studio sessions for the debut album. we are booking new shows, and looking to pack out dance parties heating up stages nonstop.

thanks to everyone involved. hell yes.

peace,

-stu.

what's up everybody.

thanks to shows coming up, more shows being booked, the debut album underway, and a lot of awesome human beings feeling the groove, we are excited as can be to announce that stushido is reaching out to ALL sorts of musicians who may be interested in participating in this truly unique project.

what you need to know:

             - seeking percussionists, drummers, flutists, violinists, horns, guitarists [as well as sitar and ukelele], turntablists, visual artists, dancers, synth players, vocalists, and if you can rock out with something not on this list, definitely give us a shout.

             - relationship is purely collaborative in nature.   no long term commitments necessary.

             - you can participate whether you have an existing band or not.  this will in no way interfere with your primary project.

             - if our collaborative efforts make it to the stage, you (and primary project, if applicable) will be featured as a special guest for show and posted in all related press.

the spirit of this movement is in creating and realizing a truly dynamic groove.  a groove that people love, but a party that can be a little different everytime, keeping it new, organic, and completely fresh.
