Hey Guys, We are sad to announce that Consumer Feedback split with our drummer, Vishal Prasad. We all love Vishal and will miss him, but some things weren't meant to be. Check out his ill band Voodoo Puppets. We are pleased to announce, however, that our friend and supporter Jack McDermott who is also in some of our friends bands has joined us on drums. we are super excited for this as he is an ill drummer, and we believe he fits our band very well. On top of this, we have a lot of ill shows coming up and are scheduled to record alot of our new music very soon. The lyrics to some of those songs are included below. Peace!
Some Lyrics:
Twin Cities Song From the streets to the jails they locked them up tonight, took them out without enough fight, but who's right when you are blocked into free speech squares, sucking on cigarrettes eyes wide and scared, looking to the crushing blow coming on, you can't turn your back on tear gas and a billy club. We lock our doors at the end of the day, and in the dark they take tommorow's heroes away. Sing Ah dah ah dah dah dah dah. Too little saw what went down this year, no cameras on the shields gas, and no tears, the news blindsided the people there, burn out inspiration, let in fear, reduce dissent to rubish and how are we supposed to see the world thats not on our tv's? We lock our doors at the end of the day, and in the dark they take tommorow's heroes away. Sing Ah dah ah dah dah dah dah.
Generations (north seventh) Six oclock im walking to the train, passerby's looks all say the same thing, you are just a kid you don't understand, life and love and hate are out of your hands. and they say you are only a kid and your life and loves and hates ain't shit. well six fifteen im getting on the train riders looks still say the same thing and I wonder will I be like you? will I turn my back on my past too? and they say you are only a kid and your life and loves and hates ain't shit
Don't Look Away The children are playing in fire hydrants, projects crushed in robert moses fist and the streets were rinsed with blood and lead when the NYPD shot Sean Bell dead. Open your eyes on today, on today. Do not look at the world in apathy, too many dead, too many lost families, we can't live this way, we can't live this way. Tired of counting those locked down today. The cities are burning down and you turn your back, how can you turn away and close your eyes on that, wait till the plains are washed away by the rising tide and if you never look you'll never see, open your eyes on today, on today.

yo! whats good guys! So basically, the summer is looming and we have about 3 shows left before the summer, and when the summer goes down, lots of stuff is going to be happening, mainly, the writing of loads and loads of new muzak. we are planning to drop a big EP which will be almost completely new or formerly unrecorded material, possibly may be one old song on there somewhere. The EP will be our first recording with Vishal, and hopefully will be really fucking ill. Recording will be taking place throughout july, and the EP will either drop in the summer in september. It will be dirt cheap, probably 2 dollars, with at least 4 or 5 songs, if not a few more! Lots and lots of love to Anything Orange, our bestest buddies who will soon be gone, so definently come to the show with them this saturday. They'll be super badly missed. But check out Lazar's new project Anti-You. They fucking rule. Also keep an eye out for our friends Outernational's album, which is going to be soooo huge and is hopefully dropping this summer, i think? outernational.net Seeya all at the next couple shows, and then hopefully a few times in summer or in september! Gavin

Consumer Feedback Lyrics
The Feet Are Clean
Rip the strings shred my nails for deep release. Blood on my hands but there is none on my feet. Just cant cant cant cant cant control. Fuck your rebel bullshit now you're on the wall. Rock rock rock rock rock no soul rock and roll say your prayers now you're on death row. Behind my mic I saw it right. Before electrocution burned those words in my mind. Write a thousand words with them I'll burn your walls. Write a thousand words with them I'll kill rock and roll. Flow the veins of rock and roll finally the arsenic has reached it's skull. Walk the line pay the price its all fine. But your false sincerity your guise it shines. Hide behind your walls of plastic. the effects of this generation will be everlasting. Write a thousand words with them I'll burn your walls. Write a thousand words with them I'll kill rock and roll.
Light the flare
Open your eyes light the flare. The words of their people aren't just lost in the glare. Put aside the words of your schoolteachers. The lessons just help to render you speechless. The whisper of their feet on the sand proves that there is no us and them just their genocide its exposed we fail to stop it before it explodes. You watch it. see it fly by, don't you realize it's a crime? See it fly by you're out of time. Out in the dusk she waits while they remove her name and face. Her death sentence written in foreign relations time wasted through our motherfucking complacence. A thousand sun rays are in her eyes, she can see the bodies staring up at the sky. She burns, it's our turn to stop drop barriers change and learn. You watch it. see it fly by, don't you realize it's a crime? See it fly by you're out of time.
Cross
We are alright. We've got no paths to cross. But to try, try to find, try to find something I've lost. I'm gone. So far away. When I wake up , I think I'll hide. Alone, so alone. My eyes are closed, but so wide. Tell me wont you tell me wont you tell me come on. Alright.
Waltz
In the dark, she holds scars. Remnants of her nights spent in the dark. She spent them bleeding and screaming. Seeking attention, seeming. Like she cared. Sick story why not complain. She asked for sympathy by causing pain. She was a liar and a fake. She asked for sympathy by causing pain. She looks around, she sees red. She can't see now. She's dead. Sick story why not complain. She asked for sympathy by causing pain. She was a liar and a fake. She asked for sympathy by causing pain.
Number Fifteen
Your age old family values are gonna burn. Burn, yes, burn, Feeling mine can not be yours. Some things only mean the same when they do not come in years. And it's just a matter of taste. Like red and white wine until one's aged. I guess you believe in falling into place. Well mom and dad I guess you chose my place. Because is seems support is only defined your way. Because all through this life I've felt like I've just been another child. And all throughout my mind I feel I've been around for too long a while. And these values are getting old. And now in my anger they will burn. How many years before I can define the value of one year of life? Burn, yes, Burn.
Metric Conversions
The lock explodes but it leaves no hole. Just a scar in the wall where my conscience used to hide where my conscience spewed its lies. Stand behind the door peak through the crack. Leaving only the scars to last. Stand behind the door and interrupt the class. Wake up to confusion, and I crash. Like metric conversions in my mind. I'm guilty but I can't get over my crimes. But there will come a time when the words the teacher taught are tried. Like a hole in the dictionary, there's no word fitting for me. Like those who work like machines but are always running out of steam. Can't hide my weariness behind the words I scream plus the words I write are too hard to read. And the pen I use has got a leak. Leaving bigger blotches than the lies I speak. Like metric conversions in my mind. I'm guilty but I can't get over my crimes. But there will come a time when the words the teacher taught are tried. Convert, and multiply.
Greenpoint Song
Why are you so sad girl? I've been away for so long. Back to the homeland, I've seen so much wrong. The beacon called me from afar, across a wine dark trembling sea. I've been yearnin' for so long, of getting back to thee. In the land of too many lights, I just had to run astray, unlike everybody else, I sure wasn't happy.
High Rises
Shadows, also block the sun. All of our light is gone. How are we supposed to see the world that's not on TV? Get out, Stand Up, we don't want the high rise. What are we supposed to do, forty story high rises block our view. How are we supposed to see the world that's not on TV? Get out, Stand Up, we don't want the high rise.
Stepping Stone
(Lyrics by the Monkees)
I'm not your stepping stone. Try to make your mark on society, you're using all the tricks that you used on me. Reading all your high fashion magazines. The clothes you're wearin girl, they're causin public scenes. I'm not your stepping stone. I remember you girl, you had no shoes, well now you're walking round like you're front page news. Being real careful bout the friends you choose. Won't find me in your book of who's who. I'm not your stepping stone.

We are in the process of recording the debut Consumer Feedback album, which will be released in september. It has oldies and new ones, and we are in the studio every day trying to get this done. The album is being engineered by Lucian and Julian from beautiful records, and produced by us & them. I'll put up a picture one of these days, just to prove it to you guys. I know there has been alot of false hope for us and you about EP's and such, but this time we are going through with it 100% no doubt. When tracks are mixed, and we are gone for the summer, I'll put some up on myspace. Thanks! Gavin

This year has been really amazing for us and I hope you guys. I think we have changed alot as a band and really grown, and I think that we owe that to our amazing friends, fans, and families. We started out the year with a pretty bad show at our friend Jon Booth's house. Unfortunantly, we played terribly. It was our first show with our friends Fiasco and NOATS, and they were both amazing. From then on, the shows just seemed to get more exciting, and more fun every time (except for the LAB battle of the bands.) 2006 culminated with the amazing Global Warmin benefit, thanks to Kyla, Ani, Hannah, Che, Piano's, Ben, etc... and the school year culminated with the Amazing show at Mo Pitkins, maybe the best show we've ever had, and definently the best crowd we've ever had. We are in the recording studio this week and next, recording (FOR REAL!!!) a 11 song album to be released at a record release show with Fiasco and Anything Orange in september. (Don't forget to go to Fiasco's record release show on June 24th!!!!) We will also hopefully have an interview in the second issue of the amazing zine called Viscious Monster, whose first issue comes out in Central Park June 23rd (Be there!) Also, a free 3 song single will hopefully be released on June 24th. Thanks so much to all of you guys. Especially our fans, because without you guys, we would never have fun. Thanks to Fiasco and Anything Orange for being our amazing "partners in crime", you guys are both so talented and amazing. Thanks to Julian and Lucian from Beautiful Records, for always helping us out, and for working with us on the album in progress, Thanks to all our close friends, you are amazing. Thanks to Hugh Pool for all the support whenever we seem to need it. Thanks to Katherine Thompson for letting us use our practice space. Thanks to NOATS, Baby Battleship (RIP), The Opaque, Modrocket, Tetsuwan Fireball, The Floor Is Lava, Outernational. You guys are all awesome. See you all september!!!
