Movimientos sociales independientes organizan Feria Alternativa del LibroComo una respuesta a las exclusiones y sesgos de la Feria del Libro oficial, el periódico El Libertario y la Organización Nelson Garrido (UCV) han organizado una feria alternativa del libro, a realizarse entre los días 16 al 22 de noviembre en la capital venezolana. El evento, denominado “Primera muestra del libro y el video libertario de Caracas”, mostrará iniciativas editoriales de países como España, Chile, Argentina y México, así como libros y publicaciones de organizaciones sociales y de derechos humanos del país. Además, se realizarán una serie de proyecciones de películas, talleres y foros, todos los eventos de entrada libre. Los cinco primeros días, del 16 al 20 de noviembre, la sede del evento será la Sala de Exposiciones de la Facultad de Ingeniería de la Universidad Central de Venezuela, en un horario comprendido entre las 10 de la mañana y las cinco de la tarde. Por su parte, los días 21 y 22 de noviembre la muestra se mudará a la sede de la Organización Nelson Garrido (ONG), un espacio alternativo ubicado en la Quinta Carmencita de la Avenida Maria Teresa Toro de Las Acacias, a partir de las nueve de la mañana. Entre las organizaciones participantes se encuentran organizaciones de derechos humanos como Provea, COFAVIC y el Servicio Jesuíta de Refugiados, quienes además de exponer sus trabajos editoriales realizarán diferentes actividades. Por ejemplo, COFAVIC realizará el taller práctico de derechos humanos “Qué hacer en caso de detención” el día miércoles 18 a la una de la tarde. Provea, por su parte, presentará el informe Social Watch y su capítulo sobre Venezuela, un monitoreo de la situación de los derechos sociales de 60 países a cargo de una red internacional de lucha contra la pobreza. Según palabras de Rafael Uzcátegui, organizador del evento e integrante del periódico El Libertario “la idea es abrir canales independientes para la difusión de la cultura y el conocimiento por parte de los movimientos sociales que han mantenido su autonomía del poder central”. Uzcátegui resaltó el hecho de que el evento abre un espacio para organizaciones sociales que o han sido excluidas o no pueden por motivos económicos tener presencia en la Feria del Libro oficial, por lo que reiteró la invitación a movimientos ciudadanos a que participen con sus stands, los cuales son gratuitos. “Nuestra idea es que desde abajo comencemos a generar respuestas desde la propia sociedad, y no esperar la benevolencia de ningún gobierno”, declaró. El sábado 21 de noviembre, a las siete de la noche, se estarán presentando en la sede de la Organización Nelson Garrido las agrupaciones Pneumacopla de Caracas ( http://www.myspace.com/..pneumacopla) y Mc Marabino de Maracaibo ( http://www.myspace.com/..mcmarabino). La entrada será gratuita. Talleres y foros de la MuestraDiferentes debates tendrán lugar en la semana de la feria alternativa del libro. Nelson Mendez estará explicando los fundamentos de la ideología anarquista el lunes 16; Miguel Angel Hernandez y Humberto Decarli estarán discutiendo sobre la Ley Orgánica de Educación el martes 17; mientras que el viernes 20 Pablo Hernández y Rafael Uzcátegui discutirán la necesidad de construir una alternativa política de izquierda en el país. Por su parte, Nelson Garrido realizará un taller básico de fotografía el martes 17 a la una de la tarde. La Casa de la Mujer de Maracay realizará un taller sobre el tema “Género y poder” los días sábado 21 y domingo 22 en horas de la mañana, mientras que el sábado 21, a las cuatro de la tarde, el Comité de Víctimas de la Impunidad de Lara estará relatando su experiencia de lucha por los derechos humanos en la ciudad crepuscular.

El dia 05 de septiembre a las 4:00am aprox. lamentamos informar que un grupo de compañeros fueron heridos con armas blancas mientras compartian en un mirador en caracas, incluyendo al baterista y bajista de apatiano, lamentamos mucho la perdida fisica nuestro compañero guitarrista de la banda dromdead Giovanni quien por estos mismos ataques perdio la vida.
Agradecemos a las personas que colaboraron economicamente con la operacion que se llevo con exito, los muchachos estan en recuperacion pero todo bajo normalidad, muchisimas gracias de antemano.
Tambien agradecemos a todos l@s muchach@s que estuvieron pendiente en todo momento y brindaron su apoyo deculquier modo.
Repudiamos todo tipo de violencia y armas para construir un mundo mejor!!! (lp x apatiano)

El dìa de hoy nos quitaron los puntos de sutura, Todo ha salido bien con las curaciones y poco a poco nos hemos ido mejorado, tanto nosotros como los otros compañeros involucrados que salieron muy mal heridos. GRACIAS a las personas que nos escribieron preocupadas, sus palabras de aliento ayudaron a que nos recuperaramos en tiempo record. Ya estamos mejor y desde ya pensando en el futuro. Pronto haremos un comunicado. saludos
