For the first time since August 2007, I finally wrote a song. It's actually been in my head since August, but decided to come out to play yesterday. It's the first song on my player here in myspace. So that's it - cd 3 is finally complete!! I also updated my website

I have a show on Fri and Sat - just don't ask me what time, I tend to get it wrong lol! I know a lot of people have been asking where have I been. I'll try and give you the short version....
I decided after numerous breakdowns of friendships from overseas etc that my burning the midnight oil was a bit silly and well, to be frank, pointless. So, I've been sleeping. No, not hybernating, although it sometimes feels like it hahahaha. I decided to get my life in order. My son attended 3 schools last year. He has Asperger Syndrome, is increadibly bright, and they just didn't know where to place him It's funny how things work out...
I decided to chop off most of my hair. I had it dyed red and had thick black streaks put in. I love it - not sure where the idea came from.... In October, I got my eyebrow pierced. It didn't hurt a bit. I hit 30 in October too - happy birthday to meeeeeeeee. Thomas was finally found a school in October and has stayed in this one - hurrah!
A lot of crapola has happened (including Storm going missing), but we'll just leave all that behind in 2007...Oh, and I broke my foot - kinda. My leg was in plaster for 6 weeks (all over the Christmas holidays and New Year - typical). When the plaster was taken off (Jan 11th), the consultant told me that I'd in fact, tore all of my ligaments in my foot. Niiiiiice. The next time a producer tells me to run down some steps in a crowd of 350+ people, I'm not doing it - haha?
I auditioned for 'Britain's got talent' (where I messed up my foot). I also auditioned for 'Live and Unsigned'. I have another audition for that on Feb 16th.
I'll be blogging on my website again soon and doing the podcasts whilst also promoting cd 3 and chucking it up on iTunes. It's time for some happy songs. Maybe I'll do a cd called 'music to get high by' haha. I just need some happy inspiration. I have a new kitten - his name is Tiger. Maybe when he finishes munching on my toes, I'll think happy thoughts. Of course, chocolate always works....mmmmmm.....yummy!
