Oh Saturday night was a killer.

I wanted to go see the Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D, so I kidnapped Tim, and Chelsea and we were going to drive there.

We were already running late because Tim was flirting with some guys online and his mom got home late. By the time Tim showed up at my house, Keri was already at the movies.

So my parents whipped out a map and were telling me how to get to the theater. We hop in the car and start driving.

We get on the LIE, and already something's wrong. We were heading the wrong way. I don't know how it happened, but it did. We got off at exit 70 and turned around so we were going the other way.

So we're driving, and driving, and Keri calls. "We're heading out now. We're on the LIE." we told her, and kept driving. We got off at exit 62 onto Nichols road. I took the first ramp, not knowing if it really was an exit or not.

From there' we were screwed. We got onto some road that was NOT the road we were supposed to be on to get to Island 16.

Keri calls again. "Uh... we're a bit lost.... we should be there soon though" Tim says to Keri, since I won't talk on the phone and drive.

We make a few turns and we end up on a different road. We found out what it was called and Tim found it on our map. "Ok we need to get to Union Ave. Drive that way" he points. So I did.

Union Ave never came.

"Oh hey let's try this it's better." Tim began. "Let's go on Long Island Road. It should still take us to Island 16."

We never found that either.

So we kept going and somehow without turning at all, we got off the road.

We turned into a gas station, when I noticed we're low on fuel.

But none of us have ever pumped gas before.

So I go inside and told this to the guy behind the counter. Some random dude was nice enough to show us how.

"Are you from New Jersey? They never have to pump there own gas there."

"... no... I'm from Ridge..."

So we turned back onto the road we were on when I desided to call Keri.

"Uhhh Ker?"

"yeah?"

"We're lost."

"LOST?! What the fuck did you do?"

"I dunno... Just... go home. We're not going to make it."

So we somehow got back on the LIE, once again, in the wrong direction. We turn around and start going.

"We want exit 69, right Tim?" I ask.

"... yes..." he said.

WRONG!

We pass 67 and it said William Floyd. "Shouldn't we have gone on that?" I ask. "No, It's ok." Tim says.

We got lost ONCE AGAIN on Wading River Road...

Throughout all this, everyone seemed to be... alright... and enjoying themselves somewhat. It was an adventure. Throughout the whole time we would scream "THAT'S FAMILIAR!!!!" at everything. Tim and Chelsea were making fun of the sterotypical black woman, and I made a 7-point turn.

We somehow wandered into Shirley where Tim lives. We got on WF, got on 25, and went into Riverhead and ate at Fridays.

That's right. There's a whole 3 or so shelves for Mercedes Lackey. I drove there yesterday before work. The traffic was horrible, but it was worth it.

I got about 6 books or so, and The Valdemar Companion. I should have gotten it in hardcover, since the maps inside don't shrink down well enough for the small paperback version. They don't have the hardcover in border though, so I'm going to go to amazon.com and look there.

So now, my collection of the Heralds of Valdemar series is about *counts on fingers* 9 books or so.

As you can no doubtly tell, I am obsessed with the world of Velegarth. Companions, Bondbirds, Firecats, Shin'a'in, Tayledras, Kyree, Hertasi, Gryphons, Dyheli, Tervardi. I love them all.

Get me books for my birthday! It's next monday!

Well. Things have certainly changed since my summer plans blog.

I'm sure everyone has noticed I haven't been on myspace all that much. It's not that I didn't have time, I just lost interest.

If any of you recall my blog from the begining of summer... well... there's been a change in plans.

I won't be doing any of that stuff. XD

I've started college, and it's fun and all, but it takes up all my time between that, and work.

I mean, I have tons of free time at home, but I don't have whole days or even the majority of the day. I can't managa a webcomic (which sucks) or a book (which I have no real plot for yet).

Between reading Mercedes Lackey books (My current obsession), Gaia, and school, There's not much room for my original goals. Maybe later.

But here's the icing on the cake.

I passed my road test!

So now, I am going to drive myself all over the place! Kidnapping friends and things like that. I no longer have to take the bus! YAAAAY!

It feels like I'm finally growing up.

My 18th birthday is coming up, October 23, 2006. I plan on gathering a group of friends and going to the movies to see The Nightmare Before Christmas 3D.

I wanna by myself a porno DVD since I'll be 18. It might be a little awkward seeing a girl buy porn, let alone lesbian porn. XD

But I don't care! I'm going to do it!

So I got back in the swing to write my book. I'll give you freaks clips of it while writing it so you'll have a heads up on what's going on with it. It'll be called Feline Frenzy and it's about my cat Precious, who's trying to take over the world! Oh... Lucky will be in there too...

The Destruction of Crea

Air: Tealia, a floating cloud that travels around Crea. It rotates in a circular pattern and can be found in the same spot every year at a certain time. Winter by Tundaria, Spring to the Northeast of Hitaru, Summer to the Southeast of Hitaru and to the north of Dher, Spring To the Southwest of Hitaru and to the Northeast of Aquata.

 

Fire: Mt. Hitaru in the Juban Mountain Range. Mt. Hitaru is an active Volcano.

 

Forest: Dher. This tropical island is the home of many strange species.

 

Earth: Kilei, a vast desert, home to the Kilei cat-like people. Temperatures can reach over 100 degrees Fahrenheit in the winter.

 

Water: Aquata. This underwater world is home to the Mer-people who can change from fish to a more human shape when they come to land.

 

Ice: Tundaria. A Barren snowcap, it is hard to believe that someone can live in Tundaria, where temperatures can be minus 99 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer.

 

Calendar System

The calendar system of Crea is the same for every region.

 

 Months are marked by the beginning and end of each season. Depending on the stars in the sky, or the moon, people are able to tell what day it is and how many days Until the next season (Months are called Seasons in Crea.). However in the middle of each Season there is either an equinox or a solstice. Some people also use these to tell what day it is.

 

Days in many lands are often called marks. They are used to describe the certain marks in the season, using the sky. They say dates as post-equinox/solstice or pre-equinox/solstice, so one would say Tylendels birthday is 5 days after the winter equinox.

 

The calendar in Crea follows a 60 day cycle. Summer and Winter have equinoxes, while Fall and Spring have Solstices. There are 240 days in a year. The people dont keep track of the years. If it is to long ago to remember how many years it was when something happened, if they talk about it they just say a very long time ago. Anything that is 70 years or older receives this phrase.

On the bus for BOCES, on the way home, before we even pull into the school all these assholes just *have* to get up from the back to the front of the bus.

You know, the reason I try to sit towards the front is to get out faster.

If these assholes are going to sit in the back, they should fucking wait to get off the goddamned bus! I've had enough of this shit.

And when I can finally get off the bus, what next? A another bunch of assholes (this time, it's not prodominately black) who crowd around the bus trying to get on.

Now, if they stand around and don't let people off, it just takes longer for them to get on. Right? RIGHT?

Then, there are the assholes in the hallways. All the "Wiggers" and "Gangstas" like to sit in the middle of the fucking hallway to talk to their friends. Now, if they don't want to go to class, that's all fine and dandy, but at least let me be able to.

And I noticed something on my high school's message board. People in Longwood, not only can't speak english, but they can't type english either.

And, I'm sorry, but this is the internet. Slang isn't needed here. Talk ENGLISH. Not that hard.

And using the "N" word does not make you seem smarter. I don't care if you're black and it's like calling another black person a brother. It's language I do not tolerate, and if I hear you saying it, I will yell at you for it.

And, now, when it comes to questioning my sexualiity, I shall not ask my mom for help regarding it.

She seems to think, that not only is gay marriage wrong, (*stab stab stab*) but that a person can't be bisexual either. Now, let me tell you, for the longest time her belief in that had confused the hell out of me. The hell out of me. Thank you mom for making that sooo much easier.

So screw her, if she's going to be a homophobe, then I'm not going to listen to her "advice" anymore. I'm bi. Get over it.

Speaking of parent's non-accepting-ness, my folks have resorted to bribery. Again.

Since I don't believe in "god" or "Christ", after this year, they don't have to get me christmas presents anymore.

This is the second time they tried to do this to me. The first time I quested god, they said "no more christmas" and I freaked and said something like "I believe! I believe!"

Mind you, this was when I was about 10 or so.

I've been playing along, for the presents.

You know, I don't care if they think it's wrong, Christmas has been commercialized. Yes, it's "disgusting" but it happened. Lee-chan and her family don't believe in god, yet they celebrate Christmas.

That's what I'm doing.

But whatever, if they're not going to give me gifts, I don't need to give them anything either. I'll celebrate the Wicca holiday Yule out fo spite, even though I'm not wicca.

But know know what? This whole "Christmas Bribery" is like a typical Catholic thing. It's what they do besided thinking everything is evil.
