If your going to read a little just skip this part and read what is under it.

In this life, people dont read, people dont look past that golden frame mounted upon that rusty nail which they call security. they spend most of their lives stareing  dumbfounded by that beautiful picture that promises and promises but never gives, meanwhile the wall behind it which is the world slowly decomposes.

most people try to find them selves in this life as  a matter a fact they spend most their lives searching for thier "true call" but the reality is that they will never find it because who they are is who they were and who they will be. in this world  you have to make your self.... this and only this defines individuality and true charecter.. not a  new tat pierceing, or a new car, or even taking up smoking what is that? so what half the us population alredy does that.. choose wisely..

                            <<<read this below!! important!>>>>>

I have gained a great amount of knowledge about elections and how they work. For example something that really caught my attention is the Electoral College. This is not something I necessarily agree with but it is very ingenious none the less. What also interested me is its part in the elections, I learned that in total there are 538 electoral votes and to become president, the candidate has to receive 270 votes out of those 538 and that led me to understand a little more how things work in our government.

In this book there is allot of persuasive writing that leads you to believe that voting is important, but the harsh reality in my mind whether it may be right or wrong is that our of the current 303, 576,526 (this number varies every minute)  possible votes in our nation only 538 really matter.

For example in the 2000 election George W. Bush won 271 votes and Al gore only got 266. Yet in the popular vote, that’s the people of America, the people who are living according to the government’s decisions, the people that support the government with their hard earned money, the people who trust that same government with their lives, it is these people who voted for Al Gore, and it is 500,000 people more of these Americans that voted for him than Bush. It is plainly stated in this book(American government 12th grade book or any high school book) that "it is the electoral vote that counts in the election for president, not the popular vote".  So what does this tell me? What am I to think of this? How can you convince me to vote? How can you convince me to make a difference, if the only difference I’m making is the difference between sand and dirt?   you shoulc all be really pissed but alas most of our youth is only concerned with childish crap..

my grandfathers dad was panfilo nateras and he was a revolutionary general in the mexican revolution they named a town after him he fought next to villa in the revolution and the bloodyest battle in zacatecas the battle Toma de Zacatecas they have a memorial there now.

Civil liberties and civil rights sound like the same thing but they are very different in fact. Civil liberties are the rights that one person has against the government. Among our civil liberties are the rights to free expression, the right to worship as we choose, and the right to be free from unreasonable searches and seizures.

It is important to us as American citizens to have these civil liberties because with out them we would not be where we are today. Consider this; if we did not have these liberties where would we be? Perhaps we would still be struggling with slavery, or maybe we would be in the middle of a civil war. All in all with out these rights the country would not have the motivation to advance.

Civil rights are another thing; they protect people against private acts of discrimination. Discrimination in employment, in housing, or education. These rights protect people form other people. These rights ensure you to be equal among others and have the mind to do the same. With out these rights there would be allot of hate and prejudice, its because of these laws that we accept others. These rights open our eyes to common sense.

We as human beings have rights form our government because we are all people with mutual interests, and our interest in freedom will always be high. The right to live, the rights to choose, and the right to peace of mind, are some of the rights that we strip from one another. Some of us bestow fear un to others and rob them of their rights so we must open our minds and know that even though some rights are not law they still apply to the law of indifference.  Death is free and the same should be said about life.

Government, though out history has had a bad reputation, yet one must realize that it is the actions of man that make government, so if a government is corrupt it is those select few individuals that make it so. Government was never meant to be a form of control; it was never supposed to be perfect either. Government was put in place so we the people could respect one another's basic human rights. What you must come to realize is that we walk upon the shadows of corrupt society and if our society is corrupt then our government is corrupt; the more ignorant society is the more ignorant our government is.

Times now are different form the past and yet we seam to be walking backwards. Our realization is that this world we live in, this false sense of security that keeps us in self inflicted stupidity will clash with reality one day soon and the results will be devastating.  But do not blame the government; blame your self for not taking the time to acquiring the knowledge necessary to make a difference not in others but in your self.

Remember that the inner workings of a government; the backbone of its structure is still the people. And if the people want to make a difference, then there will be change until that day comes brace your self for the worst.

We as human beings must inspire change in our own minds and just think for a moment if were to achieve this imagine our world if more and more people were to be enlightened by a little intelligence imagine what that would mean for our world, less violence, more inspired people, more progress.
