Current mood:hyphy
It's true, after a good few years the follow up to "48 minutes, 07 seconds, then the open air" is just about here. No release date has been decided yet but it should be out in May or June on Zankyo Records in Japan and around the same time in the states. We are currently looking for a home in the U.S. but will release it vigilante style if we don't find anything that makes sense. This record, like the last, will consist of 7 tracks, one under 3 minutes, one over 12 and the rest in between. It promises to be a much different album than it's predecessor as we've opted not to include the strings and piano that graced our first record but tried to keep it representative of our live core. We're all really happy with "48 minutes" and love what Andy (sic, sorry Andi) and Kristen (sic, sorry kristin) did with those songs but we felt that these songs needed to be heard in the same context in which they were composed. What does this mean? A darker, heavier, more aggressive WFJ!.

Text courtesy of "Winterlight". Translation by our good friends at Google.
You shoot lyrical type deafening roar [insutourumentaru] of correct attack method with the orthodox formation, guitar ×2/base/the drum and sound, the debut full album by 4 people of US Portland. With you call from [senchimento] which becomes quiet to the deafening roar until most you cannot call 'the post' quickly, it is the band which is based on to the method which acquires popularity.
Comes to the deafening roar itself green and the wall of noisy sound where emotion resides the thing knowing face, is accustomed to hitting the splendid uplift kind of impression Hari of throwing the side face of the listener. And so, and head one it was preeminent even in the development, mono it can feel. Many bands how doing, whether you produce the catharsis of the deafening roar section, while laboring, their sounds furthermore on, place the fact that it keeps repainting the dimension of the uplift which is portrayed multiplex from there and keep developing mainly.
But the music where very opening track/truck " Larsen b ", it spreads tremolo and falls the high hat and exists everywhere, it continues, from " Extraneous Zoo Animals " peculiarity of the band is visible. To a sound of this hand as for the base line which moves unusually well, you see and granting exquisite stirring to the sound scenery which is accustomed, you give ups and downs. The music which revolution pitch it keeps doing turns at exquisite tempo without giving the weariness impression of the minute dust to repetition of melody of middle tempo, quite avalanches smoothly to bursting of 1st stage and is packed.
Their musics are enormous from here. First [moguwai] of period is made to think, it comes green and distortion/noise becomes rough and furthermore you drink the sea which deviates, the ? [ma] is with [tsunami] of the roar which becomes next it does to stand up, crossing even many times, keeps overturning the scenery. The uplift impression sound pattern of the next level which is in common with " Ratts Of~ " of [moguwai] and " Jewish " bringing. Ahead that already you tried probably not to be the deafening roar multiplet structure which keeps repainting many degrees, feeling shakes the entire body splendidly well.
[doramingu] which rams down the wedge to [vueru] of the tremolo which revolves magnificently, it cuts emotionally and the deafening roar and the dance which it tears at Tr.6 " Ceilings " and the end whose [miruhuiyu] structure of the base line which is done is splendid it stops and deafening roar [senchimento] Tr.7 10 minutes when the intense feedback noise which is filled without the place keeps damaging the space " When I Destroy An Animal " condition of the sound where the band excels impresses especially intense.
The modification, "~ of reverberation record post and Mogwai/EITS type" (adding, this [dasa] it is and [jiyake]) with without hearing it is when it may lose, considerably the recommendation the album. March visiting Japan very pleasure!

Current mood: drunk
after being trapped in st. paul, MN for 3 days due to transmission problems, we embarked upon the rest of our coast to coast tour. about 3 miles outside our kalamazoo show last thursday, we crossed a highway only to be blindsided by a car travelling about 55 mph. bruised and slightly beaten, everyone walked away. unfortunately, our new van did not.
3 days earlier, we had acquired a mascot from one of those grabby machines and had attached him to the rear spare tire. directly after the crash we witnessed a concerned emergency worker picking up the bear and looking for its owner. this was our good luck charm, and we were more than willing to let it find a new home. another will come our way.
we will be picking up our tour where we left off and appreciate the well-wishes and concern from those who know of the situation.
oh yeah, don't call brian 'forrest gump'
