So we haven't written anything up here in a while and this page is pretty out of date. I thought I'd make a quick effort to remedying this.

what have we been up to? Generally writing and gigging, organising Club Public and preparing for our first single release early next year. New tracks have been slowly appearing on here as we get them finished (what do you think of Crazy Horses?). Keep checking over the next couple of weeks as there are about 4 more to go up, as well as new mixes of the oldies.

Its a very exciting time for us as we're getting ready to do our debut single which will be 'Drunk Drive' in Spring next year. At the moment we're choosing our producer, after having a fair bit of interest, and then we will be going into the studio in early Jan to lay down the track. This will be followed by months of mixing, artwork design, new picture taking, promotion, plugging and general tasks before we're ready for the release and the tour that will go with it!

I have just added a mailing list tool to the page so if you want to be kept up to date with gigs, news on the release and general fun things then sign up!

We're playing our last gig of the year this Sunday at the Slaughtered Lamb in Clerkenwell, and because you people are all so special it will be an extended set and its Free! Come down and enjoy being young and wild with us..........

Till next time

The JF boys

p.s. put February 13th 2009 in your diary as the next Club Public.....line-up is being finalised now but i can assure you, whatever happens its gonna be special.

Yes yes, alas it is true! Jenners Field are taking a break to write some sweet new tunes and so will be playing their "last show of the summer" at The Purple Turtle in Camden on Wed 16th July (this wednesday!).

Of course there will be much much party fun time and merryment to be had, and it would be lovely to see as many who can tear themselves away from home comforts as possible.

Jed has agreed to provide drinks and entertainment for the evening....so go him!

Hope to see you there...maybe...perhaps....never...

p.s. this could be particuarly important to anyone who came to our catastrophically cancelled Barfly show last week, kinda like groundhog day.....no?

Well, not really, but Jed and Laurie and I think Nilo is also in it are on a TV show on CBBC. But no one really watches that channel unless you are 6 but if you're watching it with your younger brother/sister/turtle then check it out. Laurie bosses Jed around. Alot
