ThankYouGoodNight is now searching for a bass player, in addition to a new lead player. Our friend Clif has decided to leave the band to pursue other interests.  We love Clif and we wish him well.

Thank you for your support of TYGN, we hope to bring our music back to life, sometime very soon.

I don't know what the final numbers are for the Humane Society of Delaware County, but I can say that their fundraising benefit held this past Saturday was a success. The director told me they had more than twice as many tickets sold than last year, and the auction items were selling like hotcakes!

ThankYouGoodNight was and still is honored to be a part of it. If you'd like to know more about the Humane Society of Delaware County, visit www.hsdcohio.org.

Please think about the many homeless animals that need a good friend... check out a shelter near you to find your furry soulmate!

www. hsdcohio. org for more information, but in a nutshell....

The 2008 "Fur Ball" will be held at the Medallion Club in Westerville, beginning at 5 p.m. for cocktails (cash bar.) Your $50 ticket includes dinner, entertainment and more.ThankYouGoodNight will appear, beginning at around 8:30 until???

TYGN had an excellent night, from beginning to end.  The Ohio State Fair people were very nice to us, we had special parking, our own trailer and a stage crew to help set up and tear down and of course, run sound. We really appreciated the crew and all their help.

Here comes the fun part... the shows. Our first show was tight and our audience seemed to be enjoying themselves (well, at least they didn't throw anything at us!)  We found out that the first show had a "bigger than normal" tournout and that was good for that time of the day.

The second show was just as good or better. We were up against the Oakridge Boys and Charlie Daniels as the main entertainment for that day... they were next door to us... and so we started a little thin but we had just about a full house before our set finished. People kept coming in AND... we were asked to do two encores, which, according to the Stage Manager, that's not happened in the years he's worked there that any band was asked for an encore...so that is so cool and a great compliment. At some point we had to end our show so the next act could go on... but we wanted to keep on playing... I think the audience wanted us to do that too!

We have pictures but it will take me a while to get these up, as I have to go through so many of them.

ThankYouGoodNight would like to thank the Ohio State Fair for the opportunity to play there.. I love the fair and for me personally... it was just a really cool gig.

ThankYouGoodNight is: Steve Allwein (Lead Guitar & Vocals,) Mike Fridley (Drums,) Tom Hammond (Bass & Vocals,) Jeff Jordan (Rhythm Guitar & Vocals,) Teri Silver (Vocals & Percussion,) and special guest Harry Tabler (Keyboards & Vocals, and who I hope will be playing with us again.)

Next up is a great show at the American Legion in Newark on August 23rd.

OK, so it's really late now so... ThankYouGoodNight!

TYGN has booked 4 dates for the summer at a great restaurant in Delaware. The Old Bag of Nails is on Sandusky Street ... great menu, lots of variety and lots of fun! Enjoy a drink, dinner, dance and good times with your friends. Weather permitting, we'll be on the patio. If it rains... well.... call ahead!
