Category: MySpace

So there may be loads of people out there who don't get "thanks for the add" comment from the project... There are a number of reasons for this.

How the heck do people have time to approve someone as a friend, try and find them in their pages and pages of friends and then open their page and leave a comment???

Now it may be that we just don't know how to work this myspace thingy very well so if anyone has hints or tips let us know... theres got to be a way of sorting your friends out so they are in order, and I don't want to have to spend 6 hours manually dragging them around.

Anyway I whinge too much! Needless to say that we do thank you for adding us, we thank you for the interest and leave a comment... we deffo answer those!

Hey peeps you might have noticed we have put some new songs up for your delight.

Let us know what you think! In fact come see us live and get a free CD to hear them in all their glory (i.e without the horrible compressed sound you get with mp3s....)

Hoorah!

Sunday, January 22, 2006

So from Monday the 23rd Jan through till Friday the 27th Jan B.R.P are going in to hibernation at the Outhouse studios in Reading.

We take four well rehearsed caterpillers of music in to the cocoon of the studio to turn them into beautifil butterflies of music that....err, hold on a minute thats not very metal is it????? err, Ignore that shite and read this:

The heathen metal Gods, Black River Project have forged mighty blood curdling tunes to record for their next, religion killing, devil worshipping mutherfucker ripping CD. Much better.

For those that  have seen us at gigs you may recognise 3 of the songs...

Untermenschen

Hear My Cry

If you Never Alter

In My World

We will be putting a couple on myspace and a couple on our webpage.

WOO HOO!!!!!

Oh yeah! Big up to From Almost The End for looking after us at The Bay Horse in Chelmsfor and the Venue in Braintree.

Both very cool gigs but a special fuck yeah to everyone at the Venue.... Fookin hell we enjoyed that gig and somehow managed to shift more cd's then ever before.

We shall definately be heading back that way again!

Unfortunately we had to pull out of the Nottingham gig at the last minute due to Rez being ill.

We particularly want to apologise to the bands and to Karina and all at Ragebreed.

Rez has had a rather nasty chest infection that won't seem to bugger off but at least he has had the all clear on his ticker after being on a heart monitor. A bit of R&R should sort it out.

No other gigs will be affected.... honestly!

So you luvverly web living creatures.....

Us Black River Project guys have worked out that we have played nearly 50 gigs in 2005 which is very cool. So we want to smash that record next year!!!

So any bands that want a good heavy as sin support act, or any promoters that need a bunch of noisy fuckers we are up for the job.

What about venues? Do you have a venue that needs making noisy? Or maybe you know of a cool place to play?

We need your help people so get booking or blagging, get chatting to the right people and pass on our details.

Thks fkrs!

Well there chummers, I have finally put up a list of gigs! Non gigs in Jan 06 as we need to practise the songs for the studio! Ha!

I may have missed a gig here or there, or we may get last minute gigs so keep 'em peeled... we may end up near you!
