I'm very psyched to be playing with Andrea and Mancie on Tuesday!  The last time we shared a stage was in 1997.

I'm also very excited to be playing our first gig with our new bass player Steve.

It should be a fun night- we hope to see you there!

Welcome to the new and improved Tarnishers myspace page, now with VIDEOS! We aren't practicing today due to the weather. So that about does it for 2008, but we're looking forward to playing out a lot more in 2009. Happy Solstice!

We had a terrific time at Bar Four last week! Thanks to everyone who came out in the rain to see us. We can't imagine a better maiden voyage for the Good Ship Tarnishers! Now that we know she's sea worthy, we're going over the navigation charts to plan some more excursions, so check back here often to see where we'll be!

Okay, this post is a week overdue, but it's been a busy week. Last Friday night we played Bar Four's Tom Waits Tribute night and had an absolute blast! Thanks to all the organizers and participants, and to everyone who came out. It was truly one of those magnificent nights when everything comes together and we really felt a part of something. Okay, now I'm getting all mushy. But really, the community at Bar Four is terrific.

Which is why we're really psyched that we'll be playing there again real soon as part of their Local Correspondents showcase of local music. We'll be opening for Brian Elmquist on August 15th, along with songwriter Hannah Fairchild.
