We're premiering a new song, A CERTAIN DEATH, from our forthcoming full-length album Controller to be released later this month through Ferret Music. It's the song we shot a video with David Brodsky for it in May when we were on tour with AS I LAY DYING.....

We're having a record release show in our hometown of Madison, WI, at the LOFT on the 19th of July.  From there we are routing a few days to the THRASH & BURN tour with After the Burial and Peregrine.  Finally, we start the Thrash & Burn (www.myspace.com/thrashandburntour)  tour July 29, 2008 in Albuquerque, NM.  See below for dates!....

Alright, so here's the real studio update. Drums are complete. We start guitars on monday, so stay tuned and keep checking back for more clips from the studio (DISCLAIMER: ALL AUDIO IS TAKEN FROM PRE-PRODUCTION DEMOS, NOT FROM THE ACTUAL RECORD):

Well, things in the studio are great. We are are currently tracking drums at the Factory in Vancouver BC. Metallica recorded the Black album here. Our drums sound fucking insanely good. Dev very well maybe a genius. We should start things with strings on Monday.

So we returned from Japan safely last week and began pre-production for our new album with Devin Townsend. Working with Dev so far has been a really great experience. He has gone far beyond the efforts we made with "Of Malice". We have been holed up in a rehearsal space for the last week spending 6-8 hours a day working on the songs. We have spent a lot of time with the arrangements of the songs and the order that they will appear on the album. We have been spending some time on some interludes to tie the songs together. We really want this album to have a really good flow. I have never been as excited as I am now about what this record is becoming. I know ever band says "our new record will be our best material to date", but in my opinion this will easily be our best record to date haha. We're really looking forward to beginning the production of the record in about 9 days.

Hey everyone!
We are super excited to announce that the 1st annual BIG MONDAY show has been booked and confirmed.
The show will be taking place on February 25th at the Astoria on East Hastings in Vancouver, BC. The show will be with our friends A TEXTBOOK TRAGEDY, SAVANNAH and CALLAHAN. We are really looking forward to the show, it will be a nice break from our recording schedule and a chance to hang out and have a good time. This show will also be A TEXTBOOK TRAGEDY's tour kick off show, so come show your support.Those of you who celebrated BIG MONDAY last year are more than encouraged to embrace the occasion once again this year!

Hey everyone!

We're currently back at our home base (fuck city) in Milwaukee. The holidays were good, we all had some time to spend with there families etc...

Now comes the time to get our heads back in the game. We are basically wrapped up with the music portion of writing, we may still try and pop another track or two out, but as it stands we have 10 songs we are working with. Karl has begin to do some "pre-production" vocals on the demos and we continue to grind away at making the songs come together the best we can before we hit the studio.

Unfortunately, our drummer Branden caught the flu and hasn't been able to practice most of the week. However, we went to the space last night and had a good rehearsal, so I think he is back on his game.

In other news, there is also a European/UK tour being booked to start in late march through April with our good little friends in Emmure and our soon to be buddies in August Burns Red. Keep your eyes peeled for dates to come soon.

Anyway, we have a couple weeks before we make the trek up to Vancouver, then Japan, then back to Vancouver... and then its time to get rocking.
