We would like to apologize for the half-assed upcoming show update that was recently posted.  Kevin posted it, and he was raised in a house that was filled with lead paint as a kid--so he ate a lot of that.  He thinks "Cleveland, OH" is good enough.  You're just supposed to wander around C-town that day and hope you find our show.  Here's a more detailed skinny.

Sat, Oct 24th- THE BEER MUG (Erie, PA)
with the groove-laden DIESEL HOUDINI, cost is only 3 bucks!

Sat, Oct 31st- To Be Announced (Youngstown, OH)
a 3AP production.  A HALLOWEEN SHOW, with lots of scare, and lots of blood (we hope).  More details will be announced this week.

Sat, Nov 14th - THE ROC BAR (Cleveland, OH)
with CRYPTKICKER (our boys, and they're AMAZING, so check it out) and CAHRON.  18 and over show.  Only 300 tickets available, and this WILL sell out.  Go to www.holdmyticket.com to hold yours now!


 

We hope you can come see us.  We know we've been playing out less frequently, but we're trying to make it up to y'all.  Give us a high five if you come out!

The new album should be released next year--we've got some songs written and we're working on tons of new ideas.

We told you we were going to keep up with this.  So, we'll pretend that July never happened and just move on to August.

Vexfest is in Downtown Youngstown on August 23rd (which is a Sunday).  We will let you know an exact time as soon as we find out.  This is a big show, so all of the details are still being worked out.  We are honored and excited to be playing this show...our FIFTH Vexfest show.  Truly, it's a Youngstown staple, and we are very happy to be a part of it!

 


We also will be playing in October in Erie, PA and it looks as though we will be jamming in November with our old boys Cryptkicker up in Cleveland-town!  We will also be setting up a couple of headlining shows in Ohio near the end of the year.

We've gotten a lot of emails from people wanting us to travel to their state (Iowa, 
 Texas, etc.).  We REALLY want to do that, but until our vehicle situaiton is restored, we're limited travel-wise.  However, we expect to be doing more shows as the new album approaches.

Regarding our next disc, we hope to release it sometime in the first half of 2010.  We've got some possible label support here and there--if any of that comes to fruition, as usual YOU--the people who have supported us since 1998...will be the FIRST to know.

If you got any artwork laying around that you think might be cool in a KKC CD book, email it to us.  We might find something to do with it!

Hey boys and girls,

It's time for a monthly update. This is something we're going to try to keep up with. Here is what's going on with KKC right now.

Currently, our music studio is around halfway done. THE BEEHIVE (as it will be called henceforth) is a 20x20 building with plently of crap to make noise with (though it IS sound proof). This is where the next album will be pieced together. We have a couple of songs waiting, and TONS of pieces here and there.

Just to let you know, SCHOTTEN FILMWORKS is an indie film company that has used us in several flicks, most notoriously DREAD and DEAD LIFE. We actually eat a girl in the latter. We're zombies, you see.

A few labels have expressed interest in releasing our next disc. If something comes along that is beneficial to ALL parties involved, we'll be down. We haven't signed with a label in almost seven years, mainly because our first experience with indie labels (Sin Klub) did NOT work out very well. We've still never seen a penny. This is also the reason we have not re-released SIN PATHETIC...although ideas have been tossed around regarding remastering and release in the near future.

Finally, several of you have been inquiring about getting a copy of Sin-Pathetic. We're going to put it on Itunes at some point. Right now, the only copies that exist show up on ebay from time to time. Keep your eyes out there.

Oh, and Vexfest--are we going to play? We're waiting for confirmation. We've played all of them, and we hope to do so this year. Until we're given a confimation and a time slot, we're as up in the air about it as you all are.

Hello.  We are Kitchen Knife Conspiracy.  When we were 19, we used to play shows every week.  We'd drink tons of caffeine and energy drinks.  Now we're older.  Wiser.  We have less hair.

I just want to let you know, the people that have been supporting us for all of this time, that we are not going anywhere.  I'm building a studio (which is taking a while) where we can practice, and write a new album.  Hell, we could write 79 songs for all I care. 

The next album promises to be slow.  Heavy.  Brutal.  Obituary.  Six Feet Under.  Dark.  We're excited to get to writing, and get to playing shows more frequently so we can try to provide a soundtrack equal in awesomeness to your mosh pits.

Thanks for supporting us.  There's more metal on the way.  Soon.

There's a story in the YSU Jambar about our upcoming 10 year celebration.  Pretty cool.

Johnny and John will be doing some radio this Wednesday (4/13) in the afternoon.  Third Arm Promotions hooked us up with that.

ALSO, new shirts and hats will be available at this show.  So, bring money or sex.  We prefer money.

Other than than, things are cool.  We're planning on getting out to Columbus.  A possible June gig at the Jigsaw near Cleveland is also in the works.

The next album will be heavy, pissed, and slow.  It will come with a free 12 pack of beer.  Be prepared.

Well bitches and bitches, the NEW DISC is finally nearing completion.  The artwork is complete and now, it's just waiting for the discs to return from pressing. 

We need some help for promotion.  If you're from abroad and know of a local radio show in your area that supports the underground, get the mailing address and forward it to us here at myspace.  This is our most brutal work to date, and we really feel like it holds a lot of promise.  We hope you will feel the same once you all hear it.

We thank you for supporting our broke, non-touring asses for the past 8 years.  We hope you will continue to do so long into the future.
