“MOKB wishes big things for the semi-local band formerly known as 806 Main St - we've made that no secret. We love this scrappy young band, and we've talked about the young welps on multiple occasions.  They've made a lot of changes in the last six months...they've moved to Bloomington, IN, reconfigured and pared down, renamed themselves and are self-releasing their second EP this month...all still before being of legal drinking age.” –My Old Kentucky Blog (Indianapolis, IN)

“Following EH was Jansport’s Battle of the Bands winner Broderick, who put on a much better than expected show.  You never know what you’ll get with a Battle of the Bands winner, but I was pleasantly surprised by the talent these guys showed up with.  The best thing is that, out of the 1400+ submissions from across the country, these guys just happen to be based out of Bloomington, IN.  Our friend Dodge at My Old KY Blog has made his feelings well known about the evolving group, and we can’t help but echo the sentiment that these kids may well have a good future ahead of them with a very tight sound for such a young band, and a great stage presence.” –Backseat Sandbar Blog (Louisville, KY)

“I’ve pretty much been freaking out about these guys lately.” -Musical Family Tree (Indianapolis, IN)

“Performance-wise…they’ve really come of age. Singer/Guitarist Max Mullen is only 19 (and looks younger), but he has one hell of a rock ‘n roll voice… By the end of their set they had a good amount of people inching closer to the stage, an accomplishment for a band opening for the opener. There’s not much to work with there. People are generally disinterested, and it takes a special group to grab even a few captivated audience members…(Quinten) Schulze…he’s very good. Restrained, smart and instinctive, he knows when to keep it simple. And when (John) Codespoti does reach out of the din, it’s completely revelatory.” –NUVO (Indianapolis, IN)

“I got a copy of their new EP, titled Tornado, and it is badass. I’m serious, you all need to get a copy of it. I highly suggest you go check them out, you will not be disappointed…see if they are playing anywhere so you can see them, they will blow your mind.” –Indyconcerts.com (Indianapolis, IN)

We are currently working on a summer tour and will hopefully have the dates filled soon. We're also finishing up a new 5 or 6 song ep that should be complete by the time we head out on the road this june. We'll keep you posted on the finer details as we go, and also make sure the ep is available online soon.

We just did an interview yesterday with J Trav at blogtalkradio.com/jtravisgrundon, and it went awesome. Much was discussed, band related and non- band related. Take a listen and enjoy.

"They're rough, but they show that even in the most rural of areas good indie pop/rock survives. In my opinion, these are a couple diamonds in the rough and with some better production you have a real gem..."

"The band is young and pretty much unknown, but I knew from first listen they had some talent...They posted three new songs on their MySpace this week and it only reaffirmed my initial thoughts. Young, talented, still very raw, but possibly headed for great things."

"I've been kinda freakin' out over 806 Main St. lately. 806 Main St., their song Blue is really cool and a couple others. They're young kids but really good."

"The slim crowd that arrived at Spin before Amo Joy got a musical treat just after 8 p.m. when six-piece rock outfit 806 Main St. hit the stage. The recent high school graduates from Vincennes, Ind., inflicted a mixture of Strokes sensibility and a gritty Midwestern-meets-Western sound."

"One of these pleasant surprises came last Friday when 806 Main St. opened the battle...these young guns displayed potential with jangly guitar work, strong vocals and songwriting chops. They didn't have a bad stage show either."
