Dethmor terminaram as misturas daquele que será o seu primeiro Ep. O mesmo intitula se “Apocalypse” e é composto por um instrumental/intro e 5 temas originais, é um Ep de teor conceptual que menciona o Apocalipse e os Quatro Cavaleiros do Apocalipse ao longo dos seus temas. A sonoridade está bastante mais pegada ao Death Metal quer instrumental quer vocal.

O set e ordem dos temas é a seguinte:

05 – Reign of Pestilence

06 – Mors Laurifer Est – A Requiem for Mankind

As linhas de guitarra foram gravadas nos estúdios Rec N’ Roll em Valadares, todo restante processo de captação e mistura foi feita no estúdio/local de ensaio da banda orientada por Patrick e os restantes membros, obteve se o que se esperava nas condições que nos foram possíveis, demorou um pouco mais de tempo mas valeu a pena. Este Ep conta com o line up actual da banda composta por Bessa na voz e baixo, José na guitarra, Patrick na bateria e a participação de João na segunda guitarra em alguns temas do Ep e em futuras prestações ao vivo.

A aquisição de um novo guitarrista, nomeadamente o José, foi fundamental para todo este processo de evolução ser possível, pois anteriormente estava se estancado e restrito em certos aspectos de composição.

Esperamos agora promover o Ep com concertos e que seja do agrado de alguns pelo menos. Já temos algumas datas preparadas  e em breve teremos o Ep disponível para venda.

Novos temas estao a ser preparados e em breve entraremos em gravaçoes e estaremos prontos para voltar ao activo a nivel de concertos.

Dethmor was born in Espinho (a city 25 Km from Oporto - Portugal) as an idea and project of two cousins back in 1997, Patrick and Leandro. In 1998 Nuno and Joao join in and together made the first ever rehearsal in 08 of February 1998. A group of friends willing to work even without a vocalist, Patrick on drums, Leandro on guitar, Nuno on bass and Joao ..boards. Ideas, tastes and wills joined to do what they appreciated the most...Heavy Metal! In 1999 Leandro left the band for personal reasons. New members entered the band, Pedro on guitar and Pedro on vocals. The genre practiced by the band then was between Power Metal and Thrash Metal. In 2000 both Pedros left the band for personal reasons and musical divergences. Hugo joined in as guitarist creating then a strong musical basis in the band now without a vocalist. In 2001 the most expected vocalist for the band entered, Bessa! Achieving then what the band wanted. His experience was noticed in the band, giving a great motivation to the group! Patrick on drums, Nuno on bass, Joao ..boards, Hugo on guitar and Bessa on vocals. In 2002 Dethmor recorded a 4 song Rehearsal Tape. Nuno left the band after the recording for personal reasons. Then, without a bassist the band went on with its work to improve in many aspects. In 2003 Joao left the band for personal reasons, Vitor joined in as bassist giving then the final touch to the band's musical structure and strengthens the will to carry on with the work! Pedro, former band's guitarist in 1999, joined provisionally ..boards participating in the first ever live performance of the band in 05 of December 2003 at Duke Bar in Maceda. In 2004 Pedro left the band for personal issues, leaving currently the band without a keyboard player and remaining that way. The first official Demo CD was recorded during Summer of 2004 by the band named "Demo-Nized" with the indispensable help of Luis Moreira. The following years of 2005 and 2006 were made of live concerts across Portugal and of composing new songs, at the ending of the year we re recorded an song from our first Demo Cd to appear on a Portuguese Metal compilation, Lusitania de Peso Vol.1.

During 2007 we recorded a two track promo with a tribute song to Hypocrisy named "Promo 47" and participated on another Portuguese Metal Compilation, Irmandade Metálica Vol. 1. Until the end of 2007 the line up was formed with  Bessa on vocals, Vitor on bass, Hugo on guitar and Patrick on drums. In the begining of 2008 after a period of inactivity Dethmor reagrupes as a trio, Patrick on drums, Bessa on vocals and bass and the new member, José on the guitar. We are now working on new songs for future recordings and gigs.
