Zummo Sits In For Motley Crue's Tommy Lee This Weekend
Drummer Tommy Lee is not quite ready to return to his place behind the kit with Motley Crue, and Sevendust skinbeater Morgan Rose has played his last show filling in. Rose played five shows culminating with Wednesdays set in Mansfield, Massachusetts, but will now give way to Street Drum Corps, Frank Zummo. The drummer has signed on for tonights Virginia Beach show, Saturdays Bristow performance and Sundays Raleigh gig. Zummo says, The first concert I ever saw was Motley Crue when I was a kid, and I've been a big fan ever since. It is a huge honor to drum with one of the greatest rock bands, and filling in for Tommy will be one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Lee recently suffered burns on his hands in a fireworks accident, and has been relegated to singing backup and some light piano work during his recovery.
