Hey all -- I have a ton of social network sites and a couple of blogs, to include this one on MS...looking to consolidate things and make maintenance a little easier :)

I've decided to close this particular blog and migrate over to my new one:

Mike Angley's Blog

PLEASE COME OVER WITH ME!  Good news is, it's pretty much up and running at full power right now.  Please subscribe to my newsletter while you're there and you will be the first to receive updates on the "haps" with my writing.

Here's a teaser -- Child Finder Resurrection will be out in December 2009.  Child Finder Revelation is outlined and CH 1 is done...you will enjoy them both (then again, I'm a little biased).

Please encourage all your friends to come visit and join the Angley gang on my blog!

My debut novel, Child Finder, won the Silver Medal for Fiction in the 2009 Military Writers Society of America's (MWSA) Annual Awards program!

I will attend the MWSA conference in Orlando in early October to accept the award.

I am also happy to announce that my second novel in the trilogy, Child Finder: Resurrection has gone to the printers and will launch in December 2009.

Thanks to everyone who has been a great friend and supporter, especially to the wonderful readers who have enjoyed Child Finder.

....................

I’m honored to appear as a guest on two radio programs tomorrow, 9/12, where I will discuss my mystery/thriller debut novel, Child Finder, as well as my background as a former USAF counterterrorism Special Agent.

.. ..

FM Talk Radio 101.1 WYDE’s Michael Hart will interview me at 5:00 pm Central, primarily about the recent Justice Department decision to open investigations into alleged CIA interrogator abuses.  Of course, it will also be an opportunity to plug my novel.  WYDE brands itself as the most powerful FM talker in the southeast United States, so I hope those who are in range can listen in.  If you are not, the station’s website has a Listen Online feature where you can tune in via the Internet: http://www.101wyde.com/

.. ..

My second radio program actually tapes tonight, but will first air tomorrow morning on the USA Radio Network.  Michael Dresser, host of the Dresser After Dark program, will interview me about my book and background.  This Internet-based radio program focuses primarily on author-interviews: http://www.dresserafterdark.com/

.. ..

So listen in to the three Mikes (Angley-Hart-Dresser) on two mic’s tomorrow!

.. ..

Ciao,

.. ..

Also -- turned in the manuscript for the sequel to my first novel, "Child Finder" Resurrection," and my publisher is aiming for a December release...keep fingers crossed!

I have some irons in the fire to get a few reviews done by some NYT bestselling authors...keep me in your prayers!  I don't want to jinx anything, so I won't reveal the details until everything is locked and loaded :)

I'm pleased to note that the website, authorexposure.com, has featured Child Finder and its trailer on its website. This is a nice bit of promotion since the annual Thrillerfest convention is taking place this week and authorexposure is focusing on the event and ITW's authors on its website.

I grew up in the Wyoming Valley region of northeastern Pennsylvania, and I'm happy to say the Scranton-Tribune ran a very nice feature story about me and Child Finder in its Sunday paper. Please check it out.
