Yo Yo...

Sorry for the lack of new material on the space, I have just been flat out with Venga Digital and Jengaa stuff.  I have still been writing though, and you can hear my latest remix, for Wongo - Feel Good on the Venga Youtube Channel 

That drops 25th May, which is a week today, on all good book stores and the occasional music store.

Got some new stuff in the pipeline too on the original tip.  As you can imagine though, it is hard to find the time, but I am getting there.  Created a little re-edit of Switch - A Bit Patchy which I will upload when I get a minute too.

That won't be released, its just something I use in my sets, to get a reaction :)

Might put that out for download on the blogs of you're lucky  :p

Errr yeah so thats about all from me, hopefully there will be some new stuff on the player this week.   Im really tired just now actually after a mental weekend, Halifax Thursday, Doncaster Friday, Dundee Saturday on the Venga Digital Tour.

Thanks to all concerned in the above towns/cities.... need to catch up on some ZZZZs tho  :)

Just thought id drop a little bulletin, to say that ive finally located another mac to work off, following the recent theft of mine (bastards) and just finished up the remix for Control Freq Recordings!

It is out mid November I believe, and a sample of the Liam Vizzle Remix of Filthy Rich - Dirty Freak 2008 can be found on my page!

Just thought while I was updating the blog I would let people know that the day before I went to Ibiza last week someone broke into my house and nicked my mac.

Not looking for sympathy here, but respect to anyone whos been through same, the bastards even nicked my DVDs wtf!!!

took my monitor speakers too, fortunately the decks setup were round at a friends after an impromptu party.

But yeah, getting burgled sucks, having no insurance sucks slightly more but hey... life goes on.

Bang goes loads of unfinished work aswell, ah well, clean slate I suppose... time to get saving, so start buying these records for the new mac fund ha ha!!!

Well the excellent Mightyfools release FOOLISH EP came out on Monday.

I am hearing that already sales are going really well - and believe it or not after only 2 days sales 3 of the 5 tracks on the EP are in the Electro 100 on Beatport!

Please get your support in there, we work hard on these releases!

At my last check our Eat The Drummer remix was at 97... and the orig was at 95.  Let Me is up there at 70 aswell, from the release!

And these will only keep on climbing, especially when the Lee Mortimer fans wake up, his Super Sexy remix is SURE to feature.

Keep your eyes peeled for all 5 tracks in the top 100, its a possibility - FINGERS CROSSED!

Really happy today, just got the word through that That Banana Track is flying off the shelves!

The excellent HiJack remix leads the way, 30th in the Beatport top 100 (did peak at 28 but I didnt get a screen shot of that!!)

Kelevra remix is in there at 42... Liam is a happy Vizzle  :D

Its been a while since I uploaded some new shizz to the player - so ive just changed the whole lot to compensate!!    Ive recently aquired a Korg MS-20... which has led to me burying myself in the studio.

That, aswell as being swamped in work with a business I have launched.

But... the upshot is I now have a full players-worth of music ready to roll..

The production has really stepped up a gear with a few new bits of hardware.

6 Tracks are loaded up there now, all brand spankers never before heard.

That Banana Track  is a catchy little bastard, that builds up to a bit of a beasty bassline near end.   That Meow Track Samples my MUM's CAT... no shit! 

That Ghost Track I was playing around with some different intstruments im not the most melodic in my tracks, generally i just like to piss about with sounds and see what comes out, so it starts with the intention of having a nice melody then BANG in pops a rolling bassline to ruin it all.

Then its the turn of a couple of remixes to rear their somewhat unnoficial heads.... Duke Dumont's When I hear Music is a track that I still love, but I thought I would have a go at butchering it to play in my sets.

Romeo by Basement Jaxx I had a dabble at remixing that, thats completely unfinished, but I like it as a concept and like the bass.

Then last but not least my (official this time) remix of Ryan Riback's Boom

Been a bit miffed this week cos I have found the same blogging site sharing Lee Mortimer's remix of the same track.... not only that but theyre sharing Ed Kane's remix of This is Not a Drill.   Both arent out yet...

Never mind eh!

I am going to release a 6 track EP on Venga Digital for the Summer... yes 6 tracks...  Gonna entitle it "That 6 Track EP"

This will be followed up by a Remixes EP of those 6 tracks.  I like to do things a bit differently  :)

To celebrate this, I will be putting out anything that isn't going to be released up for free download.  This includes a few bootlegs... namely Krames - Sound of tha Police..... Mauro Picotto - Lizard (Which I have just finished yesterday)..... Justice - We Are Your Friends.... and Microfunk - Pecan.... plus the ones already in the player.

For those of you in the Manchester area, I will be playing at The Venga Digital Label Party taking place May 10th at Sankeys Manchester.

I love that venue, will be an honour to spin some shit.
