New Orleans' EYEHATEGOD have spent the last two decades at odds with a corrupt music industry, using their music as a proverbial middle finger, aimed at everything from government officials, sanctimonious shitheads hiding behind organized religion and your own local police force. They have defied all odds and continue to exist and persist despite personal and professional setbacks; from major drug addiction to natural disasters (i.e. Katrina) etc... We are FINALLY in the studio working on the vocals for the new record. So far 6 songs have been completed and we will be in the studio this weekend as well to nail down about 5-6 more . ( This weekend being July 18/19).  At this point it looks like vocals will be completed by the end of the month or around the first week of August. From there will begin the mixing/mastering process and getting the artwork done. If we can stay on schedule , then by September everything should be wrapped up.

SHOWS: We have added more shows so check us out on the road. We are doing 2 tours in the upcoming months. Both are based around festival appearances. August 1st we will be appearing at the CENTRAL IL METAL FEST alongside VITAL REMAINS, IMMOLATION, GOATWHORE, ANAL CUNT and many others. Then in September, we will be appearing at the MINNEAPOLIS METAL FEST w/ ATHEIST,PRIMAL FEAR, NOVEMBERS DOOM and others.
The July tour will be just about a week, while the September tour will be closer to 2 weeks.

GRIND !!!!!!!!

We got some killer new shirts up on the site. We will have them available for tour (which starts this saturday !!)  Check them out, all sizes available.

Rob BONEHIVE Middleton (the guy who has done all the artwork for NAPALM DEATH !!!)

We just spent 5 days in Texas, had lots of good times, so there are just a few people we wanted to say thanx to. First Tyler and Mike for letting us  stay at there place. The venues (white rabbit, the compound, Red7 , Renos). I want to thank Christina in Austin for EVERYTHING.All the bands involved (A/C, Demiricous, Gates of Slumber, My son-My Executioner). It was a great time and it was everything we hoped it would be. We will be back in April

We are flying out tomorrow for 4 exclusive shows in texas. We will be direct support for the legendary grind terrorists ANAL CUNT !!! Also on the bill will be DEMIRICOUS, GATES OF SLUMBER, and MY SON-MY EXECUTIONER, so its a great lineup . Please come out to the shows if you are in the texas area.

When this wraps up, we go into the studio to finish the vocals for
FREEDOM IS SLAVERY. We have a few "special guests" lined up for vocals on 2-3 songs. We wont announce who just yet, but we are very excited about it, and it will definitely add a lot to this project.

We hope to have the vocals done by the end of the year, so then Jan/Feb we can get the mixing /mastering and artwork done.

We have 2 new shirts designs on the way as well, so be on the lookout for that.

Next week, we will add lots of pictures from the texas trip. We also may start adding some YOU TUBE videos to this. We have lots of SI archive footage , so its time to start adding some video to this site, as welll as the website (www.strongintention.com)

 We are EXTREMELY low on shirts and cds and vinyl . So if you want a shirt or cd or 10" now is the time, as these will not be repressed .

THRASH !!

First off, let me apologize for the lack of updates, it certainly was not intentional. Thanx to everyone who has stayed in touch with us over the past year. So ..... where to begin.  May 2006 we did , one of our best tours ever with MISERY INDEX, DISFEAR, 9 SHOCKS TERROR and PHOBIA. For us it was 20 shows of pure thrash and grind. Great shows, great friends, definitely one of the best tours ever for us.

After the tour ended, we went in the studio with STEVE AUSTIN to record the long awaited follow up to EXTERMINATION VISION , which was to be released on GOODFELLOW Records in the fall of 2006. We spent a very cool week up there in MA. with Steve and when we left, all the music was done, we just were going to finish the vocals up in DC and then off to Scott Hull for Mix/Master. ( This info was posted on the June 2006 update !!! )

Fast forward 2 months and our label, GF , had not paid Steve in full, so we had no masters at this point. So its now late August and we are just in limbo waiting to get the masters . GF then emails us to tell us that Steve has been paid in full and will be sending us the masters, but they will not release the new record. No clear explanation has ever been given by the label why this was done, just a lot of excuses. At the same time, GF, did pay for the record and had paid for about 100 shirts to get printed so they did us right on that end.

November 2006 we got the masters from Steve , and now its August  2007 and we are ready to finish the record and have it released on a new label. The label situation is not 100% resolved yet, but we hope to make an announcement very soon and expect the record to come out this fall.

It will be 18 new songs, the name of the record is FREEDOM IS SLAVERY .

Before the new record comes out, we did be  our first tour of 2007 with UK grind/crust legends EXTREME NOISE TERROR. PHOBIA  once again joined us, along with long running Boston punks TOXIC NARCOTIC. It was   an awesome tour, with another killer lineup   TN has a side band MOUTH SEWN SHUT and they did  some dates as well.

Well, all the music is finished for the LP/CD. We tracked it with Steve Austin (TODAY IS THE DAY ) back in June. At this point we just need to finish vocals and mix/master. We will be doing all of that with Scott Hull (Pig Destroyer) We are going to have some guest vocalists on the record, but we wont say until its done, haha.  So the record should be finished in the next month, and then sometime early september we will post 4 new songs .
We leave for tour Sept 22nd !!

We just started recording our first brand new full length in over 3 years with STEVE AUSTIN of Today is The Day ( LAMB OF GOD, CODC, UNSANE, BONGZILLA). We have tracked all the drums so far and its sounding killer. This will be by far our best sounding record ever, along with the strongest material we have ever put forth.
We are going to post some new MP3s in the next week as well.

THE DISFEAR, PHOBIA, MISERY INDEX, STRONG INTENTION tour is now over, and it was a great tour. Lots of people at all the shows, great bands to play with , and great friends. Thanx to everyone who came out and made the tour what it was, and thanx to everyone who helped out any of the bands in any way.
