Hi all. So my new CD (American Songs vol. 2) with Carter Little is just about finished. The artwork is in to the printers, the master CD should be shipped off tomorrow, and we're looking at just a few short weeks until we have the finished product in hand! Here's the song list: 1. I hope you're all gearing up for good food and lots of family/friends time for Thanksgiving. After 4 years of turkey disasters, Kevin and I are starting a new tradition of take-out barbeque. I can't wait!

*thanks* to everyone who came to see me play on friday! it was such a fun show, and it meant a lot to me that each of you were there. highlights for me were: 1) when *stellar* guitarist richard nelson ripped it up during "motherless child" (also when he pulled out some chet atkins chops during the encore) 2) singing brian wilson's "love and mercy" with carter little 3) working with shari & pete, the kind staff of the center for cultural exchange who not only applied just the right amount of reverb (none), but also climbed 4 flights of stairs to bring us *cookies* before the show (my kind of people!) 4) meeting some very nice myspace folks in person! 5) watching the *two week* old baby in the audience getting "tossed" to the music by his father to those who came: thanks again for your support! you are the best! to those who couldn't make it: i hope to see you soon! with love, josephine
