Idiot Pilot has 33,980 fans on Myspace and only 1,424 fans on Facebook. Seems kind of disproportionate right? Your job is to help us get the Facebook page at least up to 5,000. You can do this by sending your friends this link:

Once we reach 5,000 Facebook fans we will be releasing the cover art everywhere online, and you'll all be that much closer to hearing what we've been cooking up!

At some point or another we asked someone, other than ourselves, to fix up our myspace profile and make it look good. Apparently they thought that meant putting a massive list of random shit scrolling for miles down our page. Well, I think that it's time I did a little clean up of my own, sorry about that folks.

Everyone says that it's very important to keep the fans up to date with what is going on, and lord knows we try. If you are looking for some sort of Idiot Pilot related fix I (Daniel Anderson) have a blog at howlongtosingthissong.blogspot.com. It's not 100% Idiot Pilot related, not even close, but in the interest of keep your interest I would love for you guys to check it out.

We are really just recording like crazy, and the fruits of that are going to be indescribable in text. I think you guys will just have to wait and hear it, but I promise you that your surprise alone will be worth the wait.

Hello friends, those of us over here at Camp Idiot Pilot regret to inform you that we are going to be pulling out of the last 4 shows of our current headlining tour with Nurses. Specifically that means that the Denver, Casper, Rapid City and Billings shows are all canceled. This has occurred after taking our drummer Ryan Soukkala to the hospital this morning this morning. He had been having trouble breathing after shows and eventually started coughing up blood, so we took him in and discovered that he has come down with a nasty case of pneumonia. We are currently in route back up to Bellingham were we are taking him to the hospital there. Thank you all so much for your understanding. We will be back soon to make it up to you.

"This is awesome! It would appear to me that everyone seems to be thinking that Red Museum is a good way to go and I think that I would have to agree. Very, very nice choice people. What I would like to do is the make sure that we come up with a video idea that everyone can be included in, no matter where they live, so I am thinking that people sending in the footage that they come up with to me is going to be the best way to go. I will figure out exactly what format is going to work the best in the next couple of days.

But first thing is first, we need an idea. Let's make sure this is something original, and where all the footage that everyone sends in has something that makes it all fit together and make sense. I theme if you will. Something that when other people see the video they can be like "did you see that video where all the kids did... blank". Here are some good examples of something similar to what we could do... "

If there is one thing that I have noticed about Idiot Pilot fans, it's that they are very creative people. In addition to that, I think that it would be safe to say that most of you are pretty computer savvy as well. Keeping this in mind, Mike and I were discussing ways that we could include you in what is going on in the world of Idiot Pilot, which is currently in the state of getting ready for a small tour (details to come). I've noticed a few things that bands have done in the past, or that they are currently doing right now, to connect with the fans. Rivers is writing a song on Youtube with the help of Weezer listeners, Trent Reznor has massive remix contests. My thought is, lets go straight to the source. What do YOU guys want to work on with us? We can work a song and post it here on the website. We can do a figure out how to do a video together. Lets hear your ideas!
