Current mood:None
Hello Seventh Wave fans! Recently, the band has had quite a few things going on and here they are...
Firstly, we wanted to thank everyone that made the show on November 1st at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park possible. If you're not sure if you're included in these thanks, assume that you are anyway. To specify though, we are thanking all of the Stone Pony staff, the individuals who put the show together and scheduled it, Nic for setting it up for us, the other bands for being there (wouldnt have been a great show if you guys weren't there for us to share the stage with), and of course, all of the fans that came out to see us and the other bands play.
Next up, the band would like to welcome it's newest member Kristin. Being a new addition, the band is anxious to have her not only help enhance our live shows (back-up vocals, vocal harmonies, etc.), but also offer us varied possibilites with writing new material. The Stone Pony was her first performance with the band and she did a phenomenal job. If you didn't get to see it, make sure you come out to our next show to check her out.
Speaking of our next show, we have one on November 27th at Fuel House Coffee Co. in Vineland, NJ. It is an all ages show and tickets are $10. Check out our flyer on the main myspace sior or message us for more information. If you are interested in a ticket, then let us know.
Finally, if you hadn't realized, we have a new song posted, Gambling at Gunpoint. This song is coming to you from our new demo that was recorded during our end of summer hiatus. The demo includes 4 more songs for your listening pleasure and will be available at upcoming shows.
Well gang, that's all for now. Thanks again to everyone whose been supporting us and remember to keep a look out for upcoming shows, the demo, new music, and other big things to come in the not so distant future.
-Chris

Hey Guys! As you know, we're not currently playing shows but there is still a lot going on. First, we'd like to thank everyone who did come out this summer to hang out and see us play. We had a blast, and we hope you enjoyed it just as much! We're looking forward to doing it all over again soon. For those of you who don't know, Matt had surgery last week and while he is recovering well (and in good spirits, by all accounts) he still won't be able to practice for a few weeks. We've been working on new songs and perfecting some of the older stuff and once Matt is ready to go again, we'll be going into the studio to put down some more tracks. We're checking out a couple of studios in the next couple of weeks, and when we make a final decision we'll let you all know where and when we'll be recording. Of course, once recording is done, we'll be able to get back to what we really love to do: Play in front of all of you kickass people. And we'll be working on making the fall and winter even better than this summer was. We've got a lot in store for you guys, but in the meantime, keep listening and if you want a free copy of our first demo just send us a message with your address and we'll be sure to get it out to you as soon as we can! Again, thanks for everything, without you guys to listen there wouldn't be much reason to play! See you soon, Chris, Alx, Mike, Ryan and Matt The Seventh Wave

Current mood: accomplished
First of all, we want to thank Michelle (Nice Guy Booking) for making sure everything ran smoothly. We had an awesome time playing at Championship Bar and Grill (they has just enough shit for Alx to jump off of) and we're still looking forward to working out an all ages date for anyone who couldn't come once this show was changed over. We handed out a bunch of copies of the demo and we're looking to give out more, so if you make one of our songs your profile's default just send us a message with your mailing info, and we'll get a demo out to you ASAP. As of now, our next show is June 27 at the Rusty Nail. We have tickets now, so hit us up for that. Keep listening to our songs, tell your friends. And if we didn't see you this weekend, we hope to see you at an upcoming show. Thanks for the support, The Seventh Wave

Hey everyone. Here's a little update about what's been going on with the band.
The last show we've played so far took place at Matty B's place to celebrate the good ol' 4th of J. We played a great show with Jaws of Cerberus, who are currently looking for a bassist and I believe still a vocalist/screamer, if anyone is interested.
Thanks again to everyone who has been supporting us. It is greatly appreciated.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support us as well as the other bands at the Cherrywood in Clementon NJ this past Friday. Being only our third show, it was amazing to see how many people came out to support us. Anyway, it was an awesome night and we couldn't have asked for more. Our first time at the Cherrywood and we were able to share the stage with three other great bands, Persona Non Grata, G.O.A.L, and Beyond the Element. For those of you unable to attend, Persona Non Grata started the night off with an awesome set. We played second, then G.O.A.L. who had no problem pleasing the fans. Beyond the Element played last and also did an amazing job. Overall the night was a lot of fun for us and we hope for everyone else as well.
Some important information. Our next show will be in Williamstown on 4th of July. Its a bbq/everyone who is invited is hanging out to drink and eat the hosts food/have a good time kind of event. We will be playing with Persona Non Grata and G.O.A.L. and possibly a couple of other bands. Unfortunately, it's not an open event, so you have to be invited, which means you need to be a friend of either the host or one of the bands. If anyone is interested in coming, either call one of the band members you know or write us. It will be an all day event as far as we know. There is no charge, but it would be nice if you donated a little something to the guy throwing so he isn't broke and unwilling to do it again next year.
One last thing. We have started recording for our demo. It is coming along slowly, but surely. So keep a look out for it.
Thanks again for the support and get in touch with us if you want to come to our July 4th show with PNG and G.O.A.L.

So this past Saturday (5/5/08) we had a show at the Pine Hill Tavern. We all found our way, set up the stage, and got to it. The show was a lot of fun for all of us. We wanted to take the time to thank everyone who came out and supported us. Without those of you taking the time to listen to us, we wouldn't be anything more than 5 guys chillin in a basement playing music for our own enjoyment. So, thank you to everyone who made the drive and made the show worth having.
Ok...infomercial time.
If you find yourself wandering aimlessly around Blackwood or other neighboring areas stop in the Cherrywood to give Seventh Wave another listen. At that very same location, on that very same night, you will also be able to bless your ears with sounds of; A Gain of Another Loss, Persona Non Grata, and Beyond the Element.
So remember, if you were at the Pine Hill Tavern and enjoyed what you heard, then make plans to come out to the Cherrywood on June 20th to give us another listen.
