Entertainment Weekly's guru of gossip, Ausiello, has reported today that what we all feared has happened. Steve Carell seems to be on the way out of The Office.

"NBC sources are confirming to me that Mr. 40-Year-Old Virgin, has opted out of the rest of his contract with the show. The source also mentions that we have already met his replacement. Andy Buckley, who plays CFO David Wallace has had more of a presence on the show because it was apparently a test to see how audiences reacted to him."

What do you think about this? Will this drastically change the show? Leave your TwoCents below.

Rich Sommer has been part of the amazing cast, as Harry Crane, on "Mad Men" for the past two seasons and he had a great comic turn as Doug in the hit "The Devil Wears Prada".

What does this mean to us here in Dunderworld? Easy - he's the guy trying to break-up the beloved JAM. In season 5, Rich has played the role of Alex - Pam's art-school friend.

Recently ScrantonBranchOffice.com caught up with Rich and he shared his TwoCents with us about his role on The Office, PB&J, where his name comes from, Citizen Kane and more. Enjoy!

ScrantonBranchOffice: Could you please our readers a little about yourself and how you got your start in "show biz"?

Rich Sommer: I have a beautiful wife and daughter, I love Minnesota and board games, and I'm named after my father.

My big start came from doing a showcase with my Grad School classmates. I was approached by a fantastic manager, Davis Spylios Management, and we went from there. It's been amazing ever since.

What a fun hour I just had on a conference call with the media and Angela Kinsey (Angela Martin) and Ed Helms (Andy Bernard).

Angela and Ed talked about their characters and the show and of course the great fan base they have. Here are some of the tidbits we picked up on the call today.

We will be doing a full interview recap with them in the near future, but I thought I would share these notes to you guys now!

When asked about the future episodes Angela and Ed said that upcoming episodes have a lot of 'fun' stuff for these two to play, but couldn't really elaborate. They said it is so much fun to show up at table reads to see what's going to happen that week. They are fans of the show and share in the anticipation of what is going to happen. They equate the anticipation of going to the table-reads of the script to fans waiting to watch each week's episode.

RE: One-Year Anniversary

It seems like just yesterday, but a full year ago - on Friday, Oct. 26, 2007 at 7 a.m. - Al Roker of The Today Show kicked off a live broadcast from the University of Scranton flanked by a dozen cast members from The Office and about 1,000 screaming fans. The Office Convention was born!Over the next three days, nearly 10,000 people converged on the City of Scranton from across the nation. A few Dunderheads ventured to the Electric City from as far away as England and Ireland! We all had the time of our lives, and we think many of you did, too.But we'll cut right to the question on everyone's mind: Was The Office Convention a one-and-done experience? Well fans, we are pleased to report that you may once again have an opportunity to celebrate The Office in Scranton.

Remember those moments of silence on the Booze Cruise? Remember Jim getting hit in the nose by Roy during the basketball game? Did your surge protector get stolen? Do you suffer from Hotdog Fingers? Did any of the hot girl's purses look good to you? Did you get your e-vitation to Jim's BBQ? What place did you come in during the Fun Run? Have you celebrated Valentine's Day, Halloween or Christmas (twice) with your friends in The Office? Do you have Hunter's CD? Ever go all in on Casino Night? Do you wake up to the smell of bacon? Did you pick Michael to beat Dwight in The Fight? Did you do the fire walk? What did you bring to the desert island? Were you driving by the rest stop when Jim proposed? Who was your partner on the sales call?

We have now listed a ScrantonBranchOffice episode guide for every episode of The Office. News clips will be linked as history continues at SBO and we want your input all throughout! Go find your favorite episode and tell us WHY it is. Or go leave some favorite quotes on the post for certain episodes. Whatever you want - share with us.

Just like those in Scranton - we're a family here! Simply click the Episode Guides buttons (like those pictured here) down the right hand side and get started.
