Stick with us. Myspace is hanging...
Current mood:Overwhelmed, but STOKED!

Hey, folks - we're buliding our profile currently; but Myspace is being horribly uncooperative (as usual). In nut-shell, we are a graffiti and graf-related film festival and forum hapenning in Denver May 15, 16 and 17, 2008.

Thursday (May 15) we will be screening Jon Reiss' international graf doc Bomb It! at Denver's Starz Film Center. Reiss will be present for a Q & A after the screening, which will be followed by a low-key meet and greet.

Friday, 5/16 we'll have our crackin' like butt-cheeks party at the Falcon--right by the Gothic in Englewood--with local talent TBA and a headlining performance from San Francsco's graffiti and hip-hop legend TOPR, who will be appearing with Foul Mouth Jerk from GFE, DJ ATM, and producer extraordinaire Dick Nasty. TOPR recently released his latest CD/DVD, The Marathon of Shame and is touring in it's support. Check out the trailer for the DVD here.

Saturday will be the day of knowledge, with a graffiti art forum including local and national graffers, community members, city officials and press. This is going to be a very in-depth discussion of the validity and value of graffiti as a political and community expression. ALL ARE NOT JUST INVITED BUT HIGLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND AND PARTICIPATE!!! Venue TBA very shortly (I just forgot where momentarilly, to be honest...)

We will close the festival that night with a local social thang, the location of which is also also TBA shortly.
