We are very proud to announce that "Live at the Atlantic" Volume: Two 7" is well on it's way. This one features two live tracks from Off With Their Heads and we couldn't be more stoked. The set was recorded December 16th 2008 at the Atlantic and the guys did not disappoint. Tracks are "I Am You" and "Go On Git Now." As if that wasn't exciting enough we were lucky enough to get Richard Minino (aka Horsebites) to do the artwork for this release.
So, start making room in your 7" bins... this bad boy will be at the pressing plant very very soon and we hope to have it available by April.

Next up is the Averkiou 7" tentatively titled "Go Back and Tell Them..."
The record will feature two brand new tracks recorded by the one and only
Ryan "Caca" Williams. Tracks are "Wasted and High" and "You Wouldn't Be Here."
Do yourself a favor and check out "You Wouldn't Be Here" on the bands myspace page, myspace.com/averkiou. Artwork will be done by Kyle Borchgardt. Expect this one April/May.

Other things to keep an eye out for:
-FEST 7 edition of the "Live at the Atlantic" series. This one will be a 12" and will feature our favorites from FEST 7 that played at the Atlantic.

-City of Ships is currently in New York recording a new full length titled
"Look What God Did to Us" with Andrew Schnieder (Cave In/Pelican) and then heading to Europe in June to annihilate.

-Liquid Limbs are on tour. Go see them. Buy them beers.

The fine people at Sound Study Recordings have started up a new 7-inch series, called Live At The Atlantic. Volume one features two tracks from Gainesville staples Army of Ponch and Young Livers. I received the aqua blue pressing (one of 269 pressed) in the mail not too long ago. The Atlantic series is a simple, but excellent idea for a compilation. Anybody that's been to any of The Fests over the last few years is definitely familiar with The Atlantic. It's great to see a group of people who live, breath and sweat in the club nightly putting their hearts into this release. There should be more releases like this and I'm definitely looking forward to further releases from the series.

We got the test pressings for Liquid Limbs "Orquid" yesterday and these things sound amazing. We can't wait for everyone to hear this. Pre-orders for the vinyl will go up Wednesday the 10th. The record is being pressed on two colors: 200 maroon with cream haze and 300 maroon. The LPs also come with a copy of the record on CD! We will ship pre-orders as soon as we get in the vinyl. That same Wednesday a full album stream of the record should be up at punknews.org. The album will also be available as a digital download from major online retailers September 16th. If you are in the Gainesville area come hang out with us at the Atlantic September 13th for the release party. The Limbs will be selling limited copies of the CD in screen printed covers. sweeet!

Volume one of the Live at the Atlantic 7" series is on it's way to the pressing plant and will be making it's way to you guys in the near future. "Fair well" from Young Livers and "America's 1 Snackcake" from Army of Ponch just got added the rotation

August 2nd, we will be literally giving these things away. Young Livers and Army of Ponch will be coming back to the Atlantic along with Cinemacanica and Naked Love to welcome this 7" into the world. The show will be $7 and everyone who comes gets a FREE copy of the 7". The 200 copies pressed on white will ONLY BE AVAILABLE AT THIS SHOW. The first 200 people in the door get them and when they're gone, they're gone. So, if you're a collector nerd like us, you have to come to this show to pick one up.
In total, this thing will be pressed in three colors, here is the breakdown:

200 white
400 blue
400 mixed marble

Liquid Limbs debut full length "Orquid" is in the homestretch as well. We just got the masters back from Nick at New Alliance and the tracks sound gigantic. We've added a mastered version of "hollow me out" and "as long as i live". Let them know what you think.
Their record release will be at the Atlantic, on August 29th (labor day weekend), cuz they've been bustin balls!
It will be coming to you in the form of a 12"/CD combo and as a digital download from all major online retailers.
