Thanksgiving Thunder Weekend Live Events November 21-22:
Heavyweight, American, Tag Titles & Commissioner's Office Up For Grabs!

Posted: November 16, 2009
(WEST PATERSON, NJ)-  Independent Wrestling Federation is ready to blast-off the holiday season with a bang at Thanksgiving Thunder Weekend live events this Saturday, November 21, 7:30 pm; and Sunday, November 22, 4 pm; at IWF Centre, 32 Willow Way, West Paterson, NJ.  With less talking and more wrestling, you will feel the energy of live IWF action.

Thanksgiving Thunder features the Commissioner's Office Best-of-Seven Challenge.  If The Ross Family loses 4 or more matches during the weekend, Rich Ross is out as Commissioner, and the search begins for a new IWF boss in 2010!

Day one November 21st features a Double Main Event.  In an IWF Heavyweight Title Match, Stellar Travis Blake steps up to the plate to challenge Hi-Definition Chris Steeler of The Ross Family.  Steeler, in his ninth month as champion, is the man who replaced Blake in The Ross Family a year ago after Travis was unceremoniously dumped from the rouge group.  This is Match 1 of the Best of Seven, and Travis has a shot at not only the gold, but redemption against his former employer.

In the second-half of the Double Main Event, the IWF American Title is on the line in Match 2 of the Best of Seven as champion Franciz of The Ross Family defends against the popular Mad Dawg Jenkins.  Can the rabid Mad Dawg take a big bite out of the 340-pound Mastodon and claim his first singles championship, or will Franciz make sure there is no victory celebration in the Dawg Pound?

In a Grudge Match which is Match 3 of the Best of Seven, Kevin Knight meets Damian Adams.  Adams successfully returned to action at Evil Intentions after a five-month absence as a result of coming up short in a Loser Leaves Town Match in May.  Knight would like nothing more than to cost Ross a match in the Best-of-Seven challenge with a win over his longtime nemesis.

The IWF Tag Team Titles will be on the line as new champions Bruising Bookworm Frank Scoleri and German Menace Kraig Stagg pair up against the unlikely duo of Mr. Casino Frankie Amantea and rock-solid 265-pound powerhouse Fady the Arabian Bull.  The Imperial Dictatorship assumed control of the titles last month from Blake and Corino, and look to extend their reign of terror.

Finally, Chachi has withstood all he can take and battles Entrepreneur Evan Schwartz.  Chachi, still under the miserable employment of Schwartz, hopes to pick up a win and break free from his contract with The Entrepreneur Entourage once and for all!

In a Good Housekeeping Match, The Tasmanian She-Devil Jennifer tangles with Feisty Femme-Fatale Jana of The Entrepreneur Entourage.  As seen on
Eruption,The loser must clean IWF Centre after the match!  Jennifer, who is a reluctant Ross Family servant for yet another 30 days, is at the end of her stint and would like nothing more than to see her arch-rival Jana pay for mocking her predicament.

Day two Sunday, November 22nd also features a Double Main Event as the Commissioner's Office Best-of-Seven Challenge continues.  IWF Heavyweight Champion Hi-Definition Chris Steeler of The Ross Family takes on Juicy Justin Corino.  Corino has held American and Tag Team gold, and looks to add the Heavyweight Title to his resume in Match 4 of the Best of Seven.

If the IWF American Title remains with Franciz, he will defend against former Ross Family partner Stellar Travis Blake in Match 5 of the Best of Seven..  This estranged duo held the Tag Team Titles and won the 2008 Commissioner's Cup.  Now, they collide once again in singles action to see who was the real dominant force was in their old partnership.

The Best of Seven Series is rounded out in two more singles contests as Mad Dawg Jenkins meets Damian Adams with Commissioner Rich Ross.  Can Adams tame Jenkins, or will the Mad Dawg take a big bite out of the Ross Family behind?

In a return match from Evil Intentions where they wrestled to a double disqualification, former Tag Team and former Junior Champion Dangerous Dan McGuire of The Ross Family battles former friend and former Tag Team Champion partner Kevin Knight.

After Fady the Arabian Bull stated on Eruption be could beat Entrepreneur Evan Schwartz with one arm tied behind his back, Schwartz pulled some strings to get the match signed.  Can Fady overcome the odds and beat Schwartz with only one arm?

In a Triple Threat IWF Tag Team Title Elimination Match, Bruising Bookworm Frank Scoleri and German Menace Kraig Stagg face Chachi and IWF Junior Heavyweight Champion Bright Lights Jarrett Foster, and IWF Wrestling School rookies Marc Corino and Gianni Calvo.

Also appearing November 22nd are Jennifer and Mr. Casino Frankie Amantea, who will be on hand to throw their hat in the ring should Boss Ross be ousted as Commissioner.

Contribution is $10 per event, and advance purchases made on-line at WrestlingIWF.com guarantee Front Row seating (limited availability).  General Admission tickets available at the door 30-minutes before bell-time.  With your Saturday ticket stub, save $2 on your Sunday ticket.  Cards subject to change.

IWF Pro Wrestling School Celebrates 10th Anniversary:
WWE Ring Hopefuls Hit the Mat at West Paterson Training Facility

Posted: November 6, 2009

(WEST PATERSON, NJ)- Aspiring wrestlers ready to rumble their way to fame and be the next Hulk Hogan can make championship dreams come true with Independent Wrestling Federation.

Established in 1999, IWF Pro Wrestling School in West Paterson trains hundreds of prospects from 20 states and nine countries that compete in bouts across the world. This December marks the 10th Anniversary of the famous facility, recognized as the premiere training school in the Northeast by countless television and news media outlets.

Kevin Knight, a 14-year veteran, leads classes three days a week covering basic holds and high-flying moves. 21 graduates performed on WWE Raw and SmackDown Television and Pay-Per-View events, including Knight, Fred Sampson, and Damian Adams.

"Wrestlers excel in our program and receive WWE tryout opportunities as a result of our first-rate training regimen, coupled with our friendly and safe environment," said Knight. "Top graduates literally circle the globe, traveling to Canada, Puerto Rico and Japan."

IWF produces family-friendly monthly live events where students showcase their skills for family and friends. IWF Centre also hosts Birthday Parties where children are treated to pizza, beverages, and a body-slammin’ live event with IWF stars.

To supplement the year-round training program, IWF hosts clinics with major superstars. WWE Champion John Bradshaw Layfield, Hall of Famer Tito Santana, legendary Honky Tonk Man, and WWE talent scout Tom Prichard serve as guest instructors.

“So far, 500 students hit the mat at 440 IWF events, and with year 11 brings more optimism that a lucky student will someday make it to the big stage at WrestleMania,” Knight added.

Graduates also appear in the entertainment industry as Justin Corino and Travis Blake starred on Nickelodeon shows Danny Phantom Ultimate Enemy, and WACK Wrestling. Kev Kage headlined as Rangers hockey mascot Bobby Granger on MSG Network, while Knight starred in Burger King Buckin Chicken commercial.

IWF School open to students ages 16 and up, and Youth Clinics are hosted each December, July and August for kids ages 12 to 17.

Future students interested in visiting the school can attend an upcoming live event, and meet with staff upon conclusion of the matches.  For more information, visit www.WrestlingIWF.com.

Evil Intentions Weekend Live Events October 24-25, 2009:
IWF Champ Steeler vs. Knight in 30-Minute Marathon Match

Posted: October 17, 2009

(WEST PATERSON, NJ)-  Less talking...more wrestling!  Feel the energy of live Independent Wrestling Federation action at Evil Intentions Weekend live events Saturday, October 24, 7:30 pm; and Sunday, October 25, 4 pm; at IWF Centre, 32 Willow Way, West Paterson, NJ.  Here is a complete preview of the upcoming extravaganzas presented by NutritionMarket.com.

Day one October 24th features a Double Main Event.  In an IWF Heavyweight Title Match, former champion Kevin Knight challenges Hi-Definition Chris Steeler with Commissioner Rich Ross in a 30-minute Marathon Match.  Steeler, in his eighth month as champion, orchestrated an insidious plot to injure Knight when this bout was originally supposed to take place in August.  As seen on Eruption, the man who scores the most decisions in 30-minutes wins.  The Tasmanian She-Devil Jennifer, who is a reluctant Ross Family servant for 30 days, is appointed Guest Referee by the Corrupt Commish.

In the second-half of the Double Main Event, the IWF Tag Team Titles hang in the balance as champions Stellar Travis Blake and Juicy Justin Corino square off against Bruising Bookworm Frank Scoleri and German Menace Kraig Stagg in a return bout from
Fall Brawl Weekend.  During that contest, Scoleri and Stagg were victorious only via count-out, yet stole the title belts.  Can Travis and Justin extend their six-month reign and physically regain possession of the belts, or will new champions officially be crowned?

IWF American Champion Franciz with Commissioner Rich Ross defends against the popular Mad Dawg Jenkins.  Can the rabid Mad Dawg take a big bite out of the 340-pound Mastodon and claim his first singles championship, or will Franciz make sure there is no victory celebration in the Dawg Pound?

Ross Family member Damian Adams returns to action after a five-month absence as a result of coming up short in a Loser Leaves Town Match in May.  After his 150-day banishment, Boss Ross pulled some strings to get the deceitful dynamo reinstated, and he takes on Chachi.  Chachi, still under the miserable employment of Schwartz, hopes to pick up a win and break free from his contract with Evan.

The IWF Junior Heavyweight Title will be on the line as champion Bright Lights Jarrett Foster defends against Mr. Casino Frankie Amantea.  Will the odds be in Mr. Casino's favor, or will Foster beat the house and retain the title?

Also, rock-solid 265-pound powerhouse Fady the Arabian Bull squares off against Entrepreneur Evan Schwartz.  Does Schwartz have any tricks left up his sleeve, or will the fans get a treat as he gets gored by the horns of the Bull?

Day two Sunday, October 25th also features a Double Main Event.  IWF Heavyweight Champion Hi-Definition Chris Steeler of The Ross Family takes on Chachi in a special non-title open challenge match.

In an IWF American Title Match, Jennifer challenges The Mastodon Franciz of The Ross Family.  This is Jennifer's first-shot at American Gold, yet her Ross Family services will be extended for another 30 days if she falls short in this diabolical stipulation ordered by Boss Ross.

In a return match from Fall Brawl where they wrestled to a 20-minute time-limit draw, former Tag Team and former Junior Champion Dangerous Dan McGuire of The Ross Family battles former friend and former Tag Team Champion partner Kevin Knight.

In a contest to settle an old score, the returning Damian Adams takes on crowd favorite Mad Dawg Jenkins.  Can Adams tame Jenkins, or will the Mad Dawg take a big bite out of the Ross Family behind?

Tag Team Champion Stellar Travis Blake tangles with Junior Champion Bright Lights Jarrett Foster in a special non-title open challenge match.

In tag team action, Bruising Bookworm Frank Scoleri and German Menace Kraig Stagg pair up against the unlikely duo of Mr. Casino Frankie Amantea and Fady the Arabian Bull.

IWF Fall Brawl Weekend Live Events September 26-27, 2009:
Featuring Heavyweight, American, Tag Team & Junior Title Matches

(WEST PATERSON, NJ)-  Less talking...more wrestling!  Feel the energy of live Independent Wrestling Federation action at Fall Brawl Weekend live events Saturday, September 26, 7:30 pm; and Sunday, September 27, 4 pm; at IWF Centre, 32 Willow Way, West Paterson, NJ.  Here is a complete preview of the upcoming extravaganzas presented by CustomMuscle.com.

Day one September 26th features a Double Main Event.  In an IWF Heavyweight Title Match, the Tasmanian She-Devil Jennifer challenges Hi-Definition Chris Steeler with Commissioner Rich Ross.  Steeler, in his seventh month as champion, narrowly turned away a previous challenge by Jennifer, but in this confrontation the stakes have been raised.  As seen on Eruption, if Jennifer wins, she is the new champion...but if Steeler wins, he gets Jennifer's services for 30 days.

The second-half of the Double Main Event is an IWF American Title Match featuring champion Franciz with Commissioner Rich Ross.  Just who will step up to the plate and meet the 340-pound Mastodon?

In singles action, one-half of the IWF Tag Team Champions Stellar Travis Blake battles German Menace Kraig Stagg.  Will USA pride win out over German brute force?  Meanwhile, Stagg's partner-in-crime Bruising Bookworm Frank Scoleri tangles with rock-solid powerhouse Fady the Arabian Bull.

The IWF Junior Heavyweight Title will be defended in a Triple Threat Elimination Match as champion Bright Lights Jarrett Foster defends against Mr. Casino Frankie Amantea and Entrepreneur Evan Schwartz.  Will the odds be with Mr. Casino, or will Schwartz finally get lucky with a title win over Foster?

Mad Dawg Jenkins looks to take a bite out of Chachi of The Entrepreneur Entourage.  Chachi, still under the miserable employment of Schwartz, hopes to pick up a win and break free from his contract with Evan.

In a Ladies Match, ring rookie Desirre faces Feisty-Femme-Fatal Jana of The Entrepreneur Entourage.

Also appearing is Kevin Knight, who was injured at the hands of The Ross Family last month at Desperate Measures Weekend, forcing him to miss his Marathon Title Match against Steeler.  And Hush Holiday takes to the ring.

Day two Sunday, September 27th also features a Double Main Event.  In an IWF Heavyweight Title Match, Bright Lights Jarrett Foster meets Hi-Definition Chris Steeler of The Ross Family.  Last month, Foster took Steeler to the limit as the final participant in a Fatal-Four-Way Match.  This month, Jarrett has set his focus on leaving Fall Brawl with two championship belts.

The IWF Tag Team Titles are on the line as champions Stellar Travis Blake and
Juicy Justin Corino square off against Bruising Bookworm Frank Scoleri and German Menace Kraig Stagg in a return bout from Desperate Measures.  Can Travis and Justin extend their five-month reign, or will new champions be crowned?

In an IWF American Title Match, Fady the Arabian Bull challenges The Mastodon Franciz of The Ross Family.  Last month, Franciz escaped with the gold after a deliberate count-out.  This month, Fady has vowed to chase Franciz down where ever he runs.

Returning to action is former Tag Team and former Junior Champion Dangerous Dan McGuire of The Ross Family.  Just what does the pesky McGuire have up his sleeve?

In singles action, Entrepreneur Evan Schwartz enters the pound to meet Mad Dawg Jenkins; while Mr. Casino Frankie Amantea faces Chachi of The Entrepreneur Entourage.  Will stock rise this month in Evan's company, or will hard times strike his upstart venture?

In a Ladies Triple Threat Elimination Match, Jennifer, Desirre, and Jana of The Entrepreneur Entourage do battle to see who is the premiere female talent in the IWF.  Also appearing is Kevin Knight

Contribution is $10 per event, and advance purchases made online at WrestlingIWF.com guarantee Front Row seating (limited availability).  General Admission tickets available at the door 30-minutes before bell-time.  With your Saturday ticket stub, save $2 on your Sunday ticket.  Cards subject to change.
