Shalom compadres. Winter has finally descended upon the Minneapolis streets and our van is struggling to make it through the snow. 2009 has been our busiest and most adventure-filled year and we've got no tread left on our tires to make it through the winter. Accordingly, these next few months will see a bit less travel as we hunker down into work mode and start creating our future masterpiece. Wax melts winter 2010 for Caroline Smith and the Goodnight Sleeps which means you can expect a new fat disc sometime next summer/fall. 

So we've been home for a little less than a week now and just wanted to take a minute to reflect back on the absolutely wonderful time we had on this last tour. First off, West Coast, you are truly beautiful. Second, everyone we met out west, you are truly beautiful too! A huge thank you to everyone who helped set up a show, came out, hung out, bought a record, fed us, talked to us, gave us a place to crash, and even in a few rare cases sang along! You have no idea how much all of it meant. Thank you thank you thank you.

On top of that huge thank you, we'd like to make an introduction. We'd like you to meet our newest member. His name is Colin Hacklander and he is pretty much super rad. Colin has been filling in with us for a few months now and as we neared the end of our tour together we reached the conclusion that Colin should be part of The Good Night Sleeps officially. We're super happy to have him on board and look forward to lots of fun times to come!

We're going to be hiding ourselves away a little bit for the fall and winter finishing up work on a new record. See you when it's finished! Thanks again for everything!

It's here.
It happened.
The day has finally come.

Earlier this year we had the amazing opportunity of stopping by the magical Daytrotter.com studio and recording a few songs there. It was a truly surreal morning and we'd like to thank Sean, Phil, Mike and everyone else at Daytrotter for having us and helping us and being so so so kind. You guys are the best.
