Had a nice time at Highlands in Hollywood last night.  Played a mostly progressive set that was well-received by the crowd.  Hope you'll check out my online set that appeared on di.fm last week.

A couple months ago Armani Exchange contacted the label, L8-Night, about using Falling for their Spring Campaign. I'm pleased to announce that today they posted the song with their video of the Behind The Scenes of their spring photo shoot. I want to thank all the DJ's out there supporting Falling and helping Greg Puppa and I hit the chart.

I've spent much of the last few weeks trying to get the word out and also want to recognize the efforts of Tim Grube, who's remix has really helped get the track some widespread attention.

Recently I was asked to write some vocals for a track for an up & coming prog label out of FL called L8-Night Records and you may have noticed them show up in my top friends. I came up with vocals for a song called "Falling" that we're all quite happy and excited about. The song will be released soon and I will share a sample clip in my newsletter going out soon, as well.

As for the newsletter, I'm just waiting for the info on Falling and it will be sent out. I'm proud to say that over 1100 people signed up already, which is just amazing! The first free track is going to be the dub version of "Alive" (Elucidate Remix). in fact, the vocals for "Alive" are currently being reshaped for a new mix by DJ Eco that's visiting some labels right now. DJ Eco is a brilliant producer and remixer and keep an eye out for more collaborations by us. I can't wait for all of you to hear the new track!

In the next couple weeks I will be launching my first newsletter. I'm calling it the Clybourne Data Letter. Subscribers will receive free songs and exclusive previews and mixes of new songs, as well as access to remix packs for DJ's and producers.

Everyone interested in my music will absolutely want to sign up for this.

When I started this page a couple weeks ago, I really just intended on posting a couple new songs and spreading the word on myspace to build up a llst of friends who are actually into the trance and prog scene. I've seen so many pages with 50,000 friends and up with every kind of "friend" under the sun posting huge banners and non-related subject manner. So, I decided that during breaks in writing and producing, I would start inviting people to my page who are actually into the scene that I'm trying to break into (I know, what a concept).

What I didn't expect for a minute, was such an amazing and uplifting reaction. Such incredibly friendly people offering their help to get my music out and heard. Requests for the file by online DJ's, club DJ's and even small internet record labels. Some guys I really look up to posting positive reactions, like Terry Ferminal and Ian Buff. And then, Pulser, who is going to be the first DJ to spin Starlifter live in a club soon! I'm amazed and completely stunned, to say the least. I have to say that goes for my producing partner on Starlifter, Jerry Chiu, who is one of the guys in charge at pure.fm. He's very impressed with all the positive comments.

As for requests for the file, I have spoken with a few other producers and they feel strongly that I should wait until I have sent this track out to some record labels and find out what interest there is. I will have what I expect to be an amazing remix by Tasadi soon and I'm just like everyone else, a fan waiting to hear that completed mix myself. As soon as I'm able to find a home for these mixes, I won't forget the DJ's who have found me here and offered their support to get "Starlifter" out and heard and I will be coming back to you to express my gratitude with a promo copy. :-)
