And the week started out alright. I made a few bucks, I am settling in to my return to Vegetarianism and this shit happens...



I took a mean spill on the escalator. When it first happened I was trying to manage the embarrassment of falling face first into steel stairs, so I didn't have time to immediately grieve. It wasn't until I got to Public Assembly and everyone asked, "Hey, where are your glasses?" I choose to be a little sad for a few minutes, so I could hurry up and get over it and not spazz out later on.

I mean...my face is all up in this screen right now. Just think, people had trouble understanding the logo when I was in front of them with specs...Imagine trying to explain it now.

Big shout to Ben Boogz and Cesi for offering a spare pair of frames. Hopefully, this issue will be resolved swiftly. Until then expect a lot of typos and please forgive me if I walk by you as if I don't know you. I am not being a dick, my vision is that bad.

As I prepare for my gig tonight, I will do a set run thru. My room is the rehearsal space, the mirror is the crowd and I will use a practice mic. A practice mic is anything but a microphone that can be used as a 'microphone' for moments when u want to act like you have a microphone. I am aware that most of you aren't "professional" (ugh!) performers but that doesn't mean you never hit that Mariah Carey high-note (intended for the ladies but fellas...I won't say nothin') or that BIG verse to the spotlight of the vanity light over the bathroom sink. You never know when you want to break out in full concert mode for friend of two in your living room. There is a star inside of us all, so here is a list of things that can be used as a practice microphone:

1. the all-time favorite, the hairbrush
2. my personal favorite, a stick of deodorant, preferably Dove
3. beer bottles, empty or closed. When you go for the rockstar moment with a half full bottle shyt can get messy
4. a candy bar, u wanna go king size and don't get too passionate, you'll crush it
5. hair mousse bottles or other slim aerosol bottles
6. remote controls
7. a pen, not the best shape but great for when you want to get it in at work or emergencies
8. candlesticks. unlit, genius!
9. the end of a blow dryer, as I am told, it seems a bit bulky but do it up.
10. does anyone remember The Tom Green Show on MTV? if so, remember the episode where he was interviewing people with a vibrator?
