The HD's have alot of heat right now due to our track "That Dude" being played during the Bud Lite Lime commercial during the SUPERBOWL and we are in the process of working on our second studio album so we are taking on inquiries for shows across the country so here is the info to get the HD's to you city for a performance, appearance or any other engagements.

The High Decibels have reached number 4 on the CMJ Hip Hop Chart. Lots of great support from from CJSW Calgary, KALX Berkeley, KDHX St. Louis, KEXP Seattle(2!!), KFAI Minneapolis, KLSU Baton Rouge, KTRU Houston, WHUS Storrs, WPKN Bridgeport, and WUAG Greensboro!

Last night I was in Finals for the San Francisco Slam Team. For those of you that dont know or just never heard about a Poetry Slam let me explain. It's competitve poetry where you are scored on your poetry by 5 random poeple choosen from the crowd. They are then handed their score cards and the scores range from 1-10, 1 being the worst piece of crap you have ever heard in your life and 10 being the best writting poem and the best performance that piece couuld have been justice with, the poems have to be original works and be 3min or under which can affect your score. The high and low score are then droped and thats your score using the decimal point to prevent ties. Every year about 700 cities choose 4-5 Reps to go to the National Poetry Slam Competition. Every citry has their own way of finding their poets. Berkeley for example use's a point system. Starting in Dec points start to add up. 1st Place =4points 2nd=3 4th=2. Thats pretty much how the whole bay does it. If im not mistaken the point system oringinated in Oakland. But I qualified for the Oakland, Berkeley, and San Francisco teams. I got my ass handed to me in Berkeley finals which is the toughest most respected sceen in the Bay. After only 6months of slaming I made it past 100's of poets and scored the lowest in Berkeley finals. It kinda woke me up but I am proud to say last night I took 2nd place in The San Francisco Finals which means I will be reppin at The National Poetry Slam Competition. Yo I plan on gettin sick and really workin on my art because people are listening Like I never thought they would so Thank You!!!!
