Ever noticed Alice in her ethereal state of wonderland wearing black hairband.
What do you think she was mourning?
Have you ever seen woolee
Mammoth? We saw five of them tonight and they blew us away (www.myspace.com/mammothmammothband). Incredible like Rob Halford's new Christmas album.. . Midi-bongos simmer to a boil. Check them both out, one for intoxicated state of night and one for the inevitable come-down.

Travelling from Portsmouth to Stroud, the radio informs us that part of their show will involve a re-telling of the story of the Noughties. Which is amusing, slightly. With the cut up specks of her spit on my mouth. What an open display of hegemony we have on our hands, an 'objective' mystified tale of a mythological past encompassing artefacts as our own, right? Of course mr.Beeb, thanks for the update there, I had completely forgotten where my mind was strewn throughout the decade almost past, yet now you bring it up, I vividly recall all those Porcupine Tree singles stuffed behind my cupboard, must have slipped from underneath the Iron Maiden coasters.

Why desire to look back on the noughties? I don't understand.
I really don't, and I don't want an explanation, so lets just move on.

Portsmouth folk I adore thee. Unbelievably sound bunch right there. Although being asked to sign what can only be described as a chicken breast made from silicone for the use of 'boosting' the unsatisfied human with absent amount of breast.
We'll be on tour forever.

Tomorrow morning will involve strolling through a forest with rifle and shotgun in palms and killing animals.
Photographs to follow.

In the pants of a dragon-ninja we have befallen such obstacles as a craft fair in Norwich where certain members of the local constituency had wrapped their teeny children and begun selling them BACK to the constituency in a pre-emptive christmas wrapping paper.

Oxford delivered to us old friends of whom we hadn't seen in a while and of course, Patti...our favourite Patti. She dances for us all and when I mean us all I mean beyond the restrained borders of a nation and more along the lines of universal existence.

Just some of my favourite quotes from the Future of the Left gig in Oxford...

"As if you've never fingered a cat, Jack... You beastiality freak."

"Ocassionally we shave him and make him marry an asian girl"

"I'm fucking living the dream motherfucker"

They are intense like no other I promise. Oh my days we shared the stage and some gear with Japanese Voyeurs tonight.....Please more gigs with them whenever possible. Love them like that feeling when you've JUST left a persons house whose bed you shared the night before and the atmosphere of everything you just shared lingers on in thin air and through the symbolic realm of our stacked, inconsequential readings. The Garage in London again you say?

YES I say.

Portsmouth maybe tomorrow. Perhaps a yes definitely instead.
So what's going on with the Hadron collider? DO tell, my body pulverized by car window.

hmmmm I wouldn't assume trustworthy initials on anyBODY.

Love love. See you at the Amersham Arms on the 7th of December.

In other words, this is clearly the greatest music video I've seen in the past 48 hours or so. Left me feeling so bemused and discombobulated and so I like to think if anything evokes such emotional response it can only be a good thing, right?

We're off on tour again this week. Only one gig cancelled already!
Sorry Glasgow.

Anyone remember that band Colour?

December 7th at the Amersham Arms you say?
December 15th at the Lock Tavern we say?
I'm there I say.

Hi, we hate to have to do this but due to things happening out of our hands, we've had to cancel the Glasgow show on the 9th December.

It's totally our fault, so don't go blaming the venue or promoter. We are looking into re-scheduling for early next year, promise.
We are playing Edinburgh on the 7th and Dundee on the 8th, so maybe get a coach over or something?

Sorry again.

Phew. That was fun.

Last show may have been the best (could've been due to the fact that we played in front of the stage, thus experiencing the deafening growl that is our music)..... Or it could've been that this is how we warm up for our shows:

Next up is Future of the Left. We've upped the training reigeme to 100 press-ups a day. Gonna be tough. Tough but ripped.

Massive thanks for all the beds and floors, and matty Otter for the colonic irrigation*.

'lord.

* When a chilli packet says 'Nuclear', it's probably best to avoid at all costs.

The end of this month see's our bodies jumping into what I hope will be our very own, (t)rusty Deborah to visit several sites suitable for 'rock' musical performances with the lovely Future of the Left fellows.

We're all erratic-ecstatically pleased that we'll be on tour again. Although the current run of touring has yet to be fully-quenched it has been truly fantastic thus far. Worcester, Birmingham, Wakefield and Tunbridge Wells are our last port of calls. Subsequent to the above we will return to rehearsing and finalizing a few new songs to be ready to record over the Gregorian festive period.
It's perhaps too late for gnit-pickings but below is touring poster for FotL and Scotland concerts.

See you there. If you choose to attend that is. Or, if you happen to be walking past, through or around visited cities whilst we are occupying space there, in similar vein to me happening to be tired.

APOLOGIES

Photobucket

I know bands should never apologize and I personally favour a distaste towards any performance tinged by apologetic whimpers.
Yet the word above is open to your interrogation and is not put in its place due to a lacking in self-confidence on our parts, but instead the absence is of notions towards our length of the performance at Joiners.
four songs is not a financially viable investment of time for those who chose to submit their torn blankets for the smoke and mirrors.
what with the rush rush of the bill changeovers et cetera and us being late we have only ourselves to blame but upon our return I promise we'll play twice the length or maybe more, who knows? not me, ask the lord.

the lord.

HELLøJ!!

Well October 12th of our Gregorian Calendar has finally passed and our first of many albums is now available not only online but also in real-life-shops. Perhaps if you're on a lunch break or not doing anything or in-between lectures or still...not...doing...anything..and fancy a chat with a stranger about new music, visit the shop for a chinwag of sorts!

OR...buy it online!

The Moose or Bear shirt bundle will only be available for THIS week and then that and the acoustic deal will be taken down...oh dear.

Or you can purchase it from
http://www.banquetrecords.com/index.jsp?item=11404

As they're selling it for real cheap and are lovely people!

A lot of people seem to be having problems with attaining the acoustic album, so here are some directions straight from the horses mouth of Hassle...

When people ordered this option of the album, in their

confirmation email from Sandbag (company who run our webstore) there are
details explaining how they can log in the “members area” of the Hassle
store and explaining that is where they can access the acoustic album.

Weeeeey! I hope this helps.

It appears that we DID play Offset festival, wee bit of 'Abergavenny' acoustic version in a field in the video below...

..

I hope you're all well, off to rehearsals now but cannot wait to begin touring.
