Hello again!

We have now found all the string players for the recording of my next album, but it would also be really great to find a trumpet player.

There are a few small parts of the piece with are accentuated with some trumpet notes...its very simple and would probably take less than half an hour to record. We would ideally be recording these parts in a church in Grunewald (Berlin) on September 22nd, but other dates would be better than not at all.

Unfortunately our budget is pretty much spent, so we couldnt really offer much in terms of money, but we would do our best to make it a very enjoyable experience and perhaps it leads to touring in the future!

Hello,

A while ago I completed some samples to be used in the Loopz application. Loopz allows the user to play, pan, and change the volume of 12 samples to create their own on-the-fly compositions. And its great fun!

Hello all.

I am recording my upcoming album in September and am looking for string players in and around Berlin who would like to play on it. Specifically, I need a violin, a viola, a cello and a contrabass.

You must be able to sight-read and play to quite a high standard. Its not fast, complicated music - but it requires a lot of control. You also must be free to work around September 21st/22nd. This will be a paid job.

I am pleased to announce that in September, the track 'Snow Airport' will be appearing on 'XVI Reflections on Classical Music' - a compilation of new and interesting artists by Universal Music.

Hello all,

As I have quite a lot of things coming up soon, I thought I would
start some kind of mailing list to keep people informed. With some
people I have just taken the liberty to add you to it, so please write

I suppose the thing that will be taking up most of my time in the
coming months is another tour - this time split between solo shows and
in a duo with Danny Saul as 'Liondialer'. This tour will be the first
time I make it to Italy, so if you are Italian or know someone who is
get them to come down! There will also be a very special solo show as
Berlin's AUSLAND on FEB 20th. This promises to be a very special
evening so it would be lovely to see all my Berlin friends there - it
will be my first solo show in almost four months. Below are a list of

Finally, there WILL be some Greg Haines solo music out soon. But thats all I'm saying right now...

I am pleased to announce the arrival of a rather lovely looking record from me and Wouter Van Veldhoven from the Netherlands.

The record consists of 5 tracks and lasts around 40 minutes. Its a lovely pressing on matt white vinyl and limited to only 500 copies. Two samples from the album are available on this very myspace page.

The record should make its way to your favourite stores soon, but in the meantime I have a few copies to sell for 13 euros + postage. Send me a message or email me at greg@greghaines.co.uk to work something out.

It's my pleasure to annouce a collaborative album between Greg Haines and Wouter Van Veldhoven will be available from August/September time this year.

Released on the dutch Eat This Media label on 12" vinyl, the currently untitled album consists of four shorter songs making up Side A and one long track filling the whole of Side B.

We will be looking for tour dates around the time of release, so any interested parties can get in touch at greg@greghaines.co.uk or just send me a message.
