Current mood:  crushed

I gives me great sadness to annouce the sudden death of Lee O'sullivan Right now I'm lost for words. Lee was a great friend to all of us and we were all very close to him. I'm devastated, we will all miss his spirit and sense of fun! He will be greatly missed by all, our thoughts our with his family and his girlfriend Cheryl.

Current mood:  determined
Yo, just a quick shout to say that A.Y.H will be recording at the end of October/ early november. We have been hard at work getting new songs together and the results are very exciting indeed.

Keep a look out for the new stuff, it'll be up here soon. In the meantime check a few shows, keep the dream alive.

safe.

Current mood:  naughty

well, last night we had our first outing to welsh shores. We were well exited to be playing outstide brizzle, and were feeling re-energised to see some new faces.

I will say that satellite navigation is not all its cracked up to be, when it says turn left and you look left and see a pedestrian area protected by bollards what the hell do you do then? it was too bloody hot to be stressin over shit like that.

eventually we got to the meze lounge and the air conditioning and cold beer wiped our travel troubles away. NICE!!!

the acoustic bands that played before the main bands were damn good, fair play to them for gettin in front of a metal audience and doin their thing.

next up was angels fall to flames, now these boys are roughly about 15/16 years old, and they put on one hell of a live show and were a cool bunch of guys too, they had a mix of funeral for a friend emoness with some wicked beatdowns and a nice crowd of followers cheering them on too, which brings me to the next point....

when aftf finished, the crowd went with them, anyone in a band will know how frustrating it is when people only turn up for their mates bands, however when we went on we were fired up and ready to destroy and at the end of the day 10 people is the same as fifty, you just gotta throw everything you got at them which is what we did. the two italian bands that were headlining (mainline and ophydian) were amazed by the whole thing, i dont think theyve seen anything like bristol hardcore before so i think we made some new friends there.

next came ophydian, these guys came all the way from italy and played to about 20 people, im not a fan of the music they were puttin out (bit nu-metal) but they were tight and had alot of energy to put into it,

it was at this point we nipped out for a smoke before going home so most of us missed mainline but they were a good bunch so im sure they did good.

was good to see a few bristol heads there and i hope we didnt dissapoint

overall wales was wicked, just could have done with a bigger crowd, next time wales, NEXT TIME!!!!!!
